Le Marketplace est une boutique qui vous permet de trouver et installer des applications gratuites et payantes sur votre teminal Android. Les applications du Marketplace sont developpées en utilisant des technologies pour le web ouvert. Ainsi toutes les applications que vous achetez ou installez sur un terminal peuvent être accedés à partir d'autres terminaux.

Trouver et installer des applications web ouvertes sur Android

Quand vous lancerez le Marketplace, vous serez en mesure de rechercher des applications spécifiques ou parcourir les applications par popularité ou catégorie.

1. Pour vous rendre sur le Marketplace, Cliquez sur le bouton du menu(soit au bas de l’écran sur certains appareils, soit dans le coin supérieur droit du navigateur) , puis Outils, et enfin, Applications.
2. L'écran suivant vous montrera vos applications installées et un lien vers le Marketplaec. Tap Browse the Marketplace to get new apps.

   

3. Click on the links on top to see new or popular apps. You can also browse apps in the category you're interested in:

   

   • If you know the name of the app, search for it in the field above:

   

4. Tap on an app to learn more about it. You'll see a descriptions, screenshots and reviews from other users.
5. When you find the right app, tap the blue button. The blue button will indicate whether the app is free or not.

   

   Note: You'll need a Marketplace account to pay for an app. The process for purchasing an app differs between carrier and country. Just follow the simple on screen instructions.

6. Confirm that you want to install the app by tapping the Install button and follow the prompts.
   • An icon will appear on the home screen when the app is finished downloading.

     

Access your purchased apps through the Marketplace

Because Marketplace apps are developed using Open Web technology, you can use them on your desktop, Android and Firefox OS devices if you sign up for an account.

1. Sign in to the Marketplace by tapping the gear icon to the left of the screen and then choosing Sign In/Sign Up.
2. Sign into the Marketplace using your Persona account or follow the prompts to create a new account.
3. Once you've signed in, you can access apps you've installed by tapping the gear icon to the left of the page and choose My Apps.

   

Remove or uninstall Open Web Apps

You can uninstall apps purchased through the Marketplace the same way you would uninstall native Android apps:

1. To remove an app from your home screen, do a long-tap on the app and drag up towards the Remove option at the top of the home screen.
2. To uninstall an app, go to your app tray (or app drawer), then do a long-tap on the app you want to uninstall. Drag the app up towards the Uninstall option at the top of your screen.
