When i start to type in my address bar only a few of my bookmarks show up(2-3), not all of them.

i start to type in my address bar and only 3 at most of my bookmarks show up, i had disabled them a while ago in about:config and now i have change them back. Also once i type the second letter all suggestions disappear. Does anyone know how to fix this so that i can see all the matches from my bookmarks from what Ive typed so far in the address bar?

you can wet it to only show bookmarks? Mine uses my browsing history to populate the list. Clearing my browsing history clears the list.

to get it to show only bookmarks i made it so my browser doesnt record history

Did you try go to about:config and change browser.urlbar.autocomplete.enabled to true?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.
