I used to have Firefox 7 and the Trusteer Rapport icon used to appear in the address bar. Now I have upgraded to Firefox 9 the icon no longer appears, which is annoying.

Are you running the latest version of Trusteer Rapport? If not, update. Old Trusteer Rapport versions are known to be buggy with previous versions of Firefox. If that doesn't fix your issue, try Trusteer Rapport support too.
