Cannot send emails from Sympatico with T-bird anymore....
Hi. Since the last 2 updates, my Bell sympatico email through T-bird cannot SEND anymore emails (No errors are given but the email never comes through). I can receive emails without issue and when I use another tool (like Outlook or go directly through my browser, the sympatico emails come through) I attached the settings for the SMTP in a screenshot if that could help.
Any idea how to fix this?

Generally, if you are receiving no error message, that is normally where your email is discarded by the receiving server, possibly viewed as a spammer or with suspicious attachment. Try sending email to yourself or to a sampling of other email providers to see if you get any responses.

I did send an email to myself (sympatico email) and my other email address and nothing goes thru.., this only started happening after one of the Tbird updates… when I use the browser to send, it works fine
well, I am lost. If it worked prior to the latest update, you could revert to the previous version to verify.. I will see if I can get a more experienced person to look at this.

I found https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1528599?page=2 from fall 2025 which blames bitdefender
Unfortunately I have no other ideas. Hopefully someone else will.
Tx Wayne...Yeah my issue is not INCOMING but OUTGOING...All incoming emails come in fine...Not using Bitdefender...Hopefully someone from Mozilla can fix or at least help me find a solution..Maybe going thru DEBUG mode with me will help them find the issue.
