What version of Firefox actually allows you to add extensions? I'm running the most current version of Tumbleweed that ships with 144.0. Attempts to add extensions just sit there doing nothing until I close the tab. This sort of worked some time ago (I forget the version) but the inability of Firefox to allow add-ons/extensions is getting to be a joke. There are other browsers out there, ya know.

I made the mistake I will never make again of signing into a Mozilla account in Firefox. Suddenly everything about the browser was completely different. I realized it had synced to my primary computer without asking me a [expletive] thing about what I wanted to sync or if I wanted to do that now.

How do I unsync the second computer so that Firefox goes back to the way it was before the unexpected forced sync? I had those settings the way I wanted them for a reason.

Firefox 143.0.4 on Ubuntu 24.04

is there anything else I can do to get this looked into/resolved?

I'm using the AI Chatbots plugin in the sidebar and I'm trying to log into Claude, but the plugin keeps asking for a verification code and Anthropic only sends a magic link email which doesn't work in this situation.

Rasbperry Pi 5 desktop OS -> Firefox 142.0.1 (aarch64) -> Open application menu -> Settings -> Sync -> Sync logged into firefox account -> Syncing: ON -> tap Sync Now -> Syncing... -> complete in 5-10 seconds.

Phone iPhone 11 iOS 18.5 -> Firefox app -> not synced.

It seems I have to not just open phone's Firefox browser, but navigate to the phone's Firefox's Sync settings and then I see Firefox phone app syncing.

Unintuitive, needs improvement or some notification to remind of small human needed interactions.

when i login in to my instagram account it say "your browse dosen't support this page download the newer version of mozilla fire fox to login " also when i login my whatsapp it says the same "update your fire fox" so,i did update as per the instruction and restarted to make it work still both the pages shows the same.

While you can disable event listeners in developer tools, the site may still load them later during use. Is there a way to prevent them from loading or at least automatically disable them as soon as they load without using developer tools?
