Over the past six weeks I have had two failures of Firefox [running current version 146.0 (aarch64)] in completing CC payment processes -- at least one involved updating an expired car, I can't recall if the other involved such a change or just entering a card.

I am using Firefox on a mac mini M4 Pro running macOS Sequoia 15.7.2 (up to date, fully supported, but not Tahoe the recently released new version of macOS). I am running Firefox with 4 extensions -- 1 Password, Print Friendly, Raindrop.io, and Authenticator. None were being actively used during these incidents.

In both cases when I switched to Safari and opened the sites, I was able to successfully complete the CC changes and payments. So it does not appear to be related to a problem in my internet connection.

My questions are: a) has anyone had a similar experience with Firefox

     -- particularly incidents related to online financial transactions

b) if so, have you found a solution c) regardless, do you have any suggestions about the cause of the problem or changes to try

Otherwise, my experience with Firefox has been excellent and I am very happy with it, but this is obviously a frustrating and time-consuming problem.

I have reported it to Firefox -- the response was that they will look into it but that my next step should to ask "the community" here.

I am using Firefox on Windows 11, in the process of switching from Chrome.

I run Cockpit (https://cockpit-project.org/) on web servers that I manage, and when I log into it on Firefox the screen flickers constantly, making it unusable.

There is no issue with any other web sites I have visited, and I can still use Cockpit when in Chrome. So ay suggestions on how to troubleshoot and resolve the issue with Cockpit and Firefox?

I created multiple profiles with the new [management] feature. Amazing, I've been waiting for it for years!

If I open all my profiles I can distinguish them since they all have a different icon. I can also pin all the profiles (Keep in Dock) to the MacOS dock.

When I quit all Firefox instances, I would like to be able to immediately jump back to the desired profile.

Instead I get multiple Firefox icons (without the icon profile, that disappear after I quit Firefox). I find this inconvenient.

Firefox does not start automatically when Windows 11 starts. When I do start it manually, then a small rectangle appears on the screen in the upper left corner of the screen!

Please address issues.

Fix "The bookmarks and history system will not be functional" error message. I fixed it 2 days ago thanks to your method and today I find myself in the same situation once more... And I confess I"m fed up. Not the only issue with Firefox (like denied access to many webpages) although I share its values and then I'll be giving up !

I used to have set tabs for all the sites I ha to saved on Firefox before my laptop burned out and I had to rest it. Now after reloading Firefox forgot all my books marks I had for years. How do I get them back?

Once again, when I updated Firefox, it changed a LOT of my settings, including displaying the toolbar and open tabs bar.

When this happened last - months ago - it seems Mozilla realized this had happened to a lot of users, and managed to restore us to all the information that had been "lost".

I hope you can do that again, and can find a way to not put at least ME, and I'd bet a lot of other users, through the OMG!!! What do I do NOW?! panic.

I cannot stop sso.tds.net from loading and looping. I made a mistake on tds.net (my internet provider). I wanted to add my phone number with the current phone number associated with account. When I got to the page, it only allowed one number, so I left everything as it was. Only choice was continue. After selecting continue, It constantly loops and will not allow me to sign out. (probably because it is looking to update a change and there was none.) Contacted tech support at TDS. I don't usually use google chrome, but they had me try to log on through chrome. It did the same thing. TDS got it off google chrome through clearing cookies and browsing data. I tried same with Firefox, but it will not work. TDS tried to assist with firefox and walked me through steps, but were unsuccessful. told me to contact firefox support.

I went to settings>privacy & security>cookies & site data>clear browsing data......didn't work I went to settings>privacy & security>cookies & site data> manage browsing data>remove all>save changes......didn't work When I log into my TDS account it directly takes me to sso.tds.net and flashes looping and I can go nowhere. On google chrome I was able to log into my TDS account after clearing cookies and data history for the past few hours. I just cannot get it to do the same on firefox. (also it does not allow me to log off my TDS account.)

I'm hoping someone can help me resolve this. I teach online using Google Meet and would like to be able to share videos but every time I try, my students only see the video and can't hear any audio. all my screensharing settings are correct on my iMac as that was the first place I checked. I have tried finding a solution online, but short of downloading the dreaded Google Chrome itself, I can't find a solution.

I am watching videos on you tube and is changing the original language from english to spanish with out me asking and the same goes for the CC subtitles, it keeps on changing the english original to spanish and vice versa and is really annoying, I have no idea if the problem is with Firefox or with Google Youtube!!

Sorry to bore you with this seemingly banal question. I have quite bad dislexia, and although I have full type spell check on Safari, default browser, I cannot work out how to get it work on FFox. I include a copy of machine learning -the bit I'm struggling with: "You can check if a dictionary is installed and active in Firefox in two main ways: through a right-click context menu in a text field or in the Add-ons Manager" Or this freaks me out: "To get spell check working in Firefox, enable "Check your spelling as you type" in General Settings, then ensure you have the correct dictionary installed by visiting Firefox Add-ons and adding your desired language dictionary (like English UK/US) for spell-checking to function correctly in text boxes. If it's still not working, right-click a text field to confirm the dictionary is selected"

I have tried to use my spelling abilities, especially in our #ClimateCrisisClub multiple online forums, without any spell check and it's slowing me down on wondering if the spelling is right etc. The letter positioning as words is ok, I can spot andcorrect, but again slows up. It's very frustrating, and not a great look in presentation. I would be forever in your debt if you can help me. Yours Oliver.

Recently, I've been noticing an issue with Firefox's built in Picture-in-Picture (PiP) feature. When watching media, such as a YouTube video, using PiP, the video runs as normal, but recently, the PiP completely breaks when I tab away from my Firefox window to do something in a different app. This wasn't the case a few months ago, so I'm not sure what changed to make this error happen. I had attempted to disable hardware acceleration to see if that was the issue, and nothing changes when it's enabled versus when it's disabled.

Hi. I have had an ongoing random problem on videos sites where while scrolling, about half way down page it will suddenly have a seizure, stutter, causing multiple copies of the window to jump up and down. If I "slowly" scroll back up to the "quiet" area (midway to top of screen) it will behave normally. I try and watch the video I had been watching when it went nuts, happens again. I 'think' I got by it the other night...somehow I don't think it was me, rather it just happened to snap back into place. It had been happening more frequently several months ago where it was a real problem, went through all the normally accepted ways of cleaning, checking and hunting for others having a similar problem. The latter is where I have normally found the best and most recent inquiry similar to mine. Good part is it's fast and I know it's not just me. Bad part is it's fast and nobody has had time to answer it. Then it suddenly just stopped. In fact, I had forgotten about it! The bane of my daily computer life for weeks was suddenly gone and I forgot about it???? Well, it reminded me today, it's back. Any suggestions? I had thought it was with some Microsoft changes that had been going on and that had seemed to be the consensus but? Thanks in advance.
