Hi,
Please try uninstalling the current installation via Windows Control Panel > Programs and Features and install the latest by right-clicking on the Firefox installer and Run as administrator. When uninstalling make sure to choose to delete all preferences and files. After uninstalling please also check and delete any Mozilla, Mozilla Firefox or Firefox folders in %appdata%, %localappdata% and %programfiles% or %programfiles(x86)%. Type %appdata% in the Run box and enter, likewise for the other two locations. In %localappdata% you would also have to check inside the VirtualStore.

I don't think I understand the instructions. Are the "%" intended to be quote marks.
OK. I deleted it including all my stored files, but I didn't see anywhere to run it as an administrator. I guess I can just search my files for anything with the names and delete them. I really don't follow the part about the "run file" I try this and get back with you.
Yea! Even without totally understanding your instructions, I was able to get it to work! And it even cleared up another problem that I was having problems with. I'll miss all my saved favorites though. But I have been managing without them while trying to use IE.
