I typed a username in upper case and now it won't allow me to use lower case when signing in to a webiste

I saved a username in uppercase, firefox remembered it and now won't allow the lowercase when I type it. what to do?

Remove a saved password here: Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: "Saved Passwords" > "Show Passwords"
