Thunderbird stopped deleting emails in the Trash folder for Yahoo mail.

Using version 21.0 on Android 15 on a Motorola Stylus 5G 2024 phone. For the last week or so, selecting "Empty Trash" for my ymail.com account results in nothing happening. I have to log into yahoo.com via my browser and manually delete emails in the "Trash" folder.
