On Linux, when running: sudo netstat -lnp

I get the following output: Active Internet connections (only servers) Proto Recv-Q Send-Q Local Address Foreign Address State PID/Program name udp 0 0 0.0.0.0:5353 0.0.0.0:* 2436/firefox

I see that Firefox listens on UDP port 5353 (mDNS). I do not like that, since the computer has public IP address. I tried to look for ways how to disable mDNS in Firefox, without any luck.

Please could anyone advise how to disable mDNS in Firefox?
