Flash constantly crashing browser
This has been going on for years. Crashes, total stoppage, lock ups, etc. whenever using a flash site. They ALL work with other browsers. I want to know when the hell this will get fixed. It is total bullshit. Been using Firefox for over a decade and I am ready to give up. My wife can't even use lumosity on Firefox because of this. I am so fed up. If you have no intention of fixing the problem like other browsers have done, then tell us - so we can move on - and Mozilla can die. This is ridiculous. The crashing problem is evident all over the internet. You can't even switch tabs when one of them locks up. Please tell us if there is any intention to fix this.

Crashes or other problems with certain multimedia content in Firefox (such as Flash videos, animations or games) can often be resolved by performing the steps in these Knowledge Base articles:
Please tell us if this helped!
I have trying every imaginable fix online. My add-ons are always updated. My browser is always updated. I have cleared add-ons. I have cleared history. I have cleared cache. I have started a new profile. All these things do is make it more frustrating to use the Firefox browser. Maybe it's time is up. The bottom line is all the pages that crash in Firefox due to a Flash issue, work fine in all other browsers.
Hi
Have you tried uninstalling the older version of Flash that you have installed alongside the more recent version?
If it is easier, you may want to remove both and install the latest version from scratch.
Uninstalled both (I think) and reinstalled. We will see how it goes.
Nope, same tie up of script involving flash. So sick of it.
It seems that you have two versions of Flash plugin installed for Firefox! Flash is notorious for not cleaning up after the older versions when Flash does an update of their program. Some users have accumulated 5 different versions of the Flash plugin for Firefox.
Your More System Details shows these as available for Firefox. Shockwave Flash 24.0 r0 Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0
Grab the Adobe uninstaller from here: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html
Get the latest Flash installer from here: https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ Make sure you de-select the "Optional offers" at the center top of that page.
1. Exit all browsers and other programs that use Flash. 2. Run the uninstaller. 3. Verify that uninstallation is complete. 4. Restart Windows. 5. Install Flash. 6. Resart Windows again.
That should solve your problems with Flash causing Firefox to crash.
As I said above, I uninstalled both versions that were showing prior to reinstalling. I will try again.
Please use the Adobe uninstaller application. The issue we saw in your "More System Details" doesn't typically involve two complete Plugin versions of Flash being installed, but rather an extra DLL file "hanging around".
I have used the Adobe uninstaller - 4 times to be exact. I will let you know if the last time works or not.
Nope, didn't work. same old crap!
