I have a need to know of any changes every time that a new version is launched BEFORE the actual Update. So I want to disable AUTOMATIC UPDATES. How can I accomplish that end result?

To my knowledge I have never authorized automatic updates, which are happening in reality. I guess Mozilla unilaterally decided that it would make the choice for me by default. How do I change that?

Thank you kindly

If you wish to disable automatic updates, I recommend you have a read of the details here.

I hope this helps, but if not, please come back here and we can look into a different solution for you.
