Deleting bookmarks

I looked up "Deleting Bookmarks" in Mozilla and it came back with a simple, easy to understand method. Go to the page you want to delete, click on the star and click "Remove Bookmark" and then I clocked DONE. It did not work.

Can you remove those bookmarks in the Bookmarks Manager? A click on the star should show the folder in which the bookmark is saved. You can click the arrow at the far right of the Folder line to see the location in the tree list.

I do not see "Bookmarks manager" I only see "Bookmark this page" , "Organize Bookmark" and "Bookmark All Tabs" under the BOOKMARK tab in Firefox and none of these allow me to delete any bookmarks.

Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks will bring you to the Bookmarks Manager a.k.a Library.
