I installed Thunderbird on my desktop and setup my primary email account and it downloaded my emails instantly. I wanted to import my address book and emails from my Eudora email. I clcicked on "Import" and it asks "Import everything" and clcicking next it says "no application to import from. How do I get that app to show first and then download?

You might have better luck with an older version of TB, such as 17 or 31. I would uninstall 78, install the older version (it will probably create a new profile folder), import from Eudora, then install 78.
