Do you mean on your Firefox for Windows 7? Firefox on desktop/laptop computers doesn't have any Kindle settings in its menus unless you installed an add-on related to your Kindle. Usually you can access add-on settings here (either):

  • Ctrl+Shift+a (Mac: Command+Shift+a)
  • "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons

In the left column, click Extensions. Then cast a critical eye over the list on the right side for anything Kindle related and look for its Options button.

Alternately, this showed up in a web search for how to de-register a Kindle from your Amazon account:

Kindle is Registered to a Different Account You can deregister your Kindle Paperwhite from your device or by visiting Manage Your Content and Devices online. https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=201176200

Deregister a Device You can deregister a device from your Amazon account if you no longer want to use it to purchase apps or in-app items. https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=201357520

Hi, the Options button - which is likely what you want, looks like a gear-wheel - it might be on a toollbar, so have a look there.

If not, see Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars and click on Customize - if you see it, drag it to the right (into the main menu) or to a toolbar, then Exit Customize. If you can't see it, try clicking on Restore Defaults.

You can also access Options from the main menu > Tools, (press Alt to bring it up temporarily, or right click in the tab bar - not on a tab, and select Menu Bar).

If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you!

This is the Firefox for Desktop help forum. Are you talking about Firefox for Android on Kindle? Installing Firefox for Android on an Amazon Kindle Fire

If so, this might help Sync bookmarks, tabs, history and passwords on Android

Forget about the kindle for now. What I want to see when I press the Menu icon on the Mozilla Firefox screen is a SETTINGS icon. Once I've got that I will be able to de-register my kindle and then re-register it because I have all the instructions to hand.
