How do I add ChatGPT.com to access my location? When I go to Settings, Privacy, Locations, I can type in the ChatGPT address, but cannot add it to the allow list.

bold text All I want to do is to allow websites to see my location. I am seek to purchase a new home and all the sites say that my location is blocked. When I go to Firefox settings, I cannot grant location access but have to list all web sites that want my location. When I attempt to list a website, I cannot. HELP.

after i turn on location in settings, i keep getting a notification that my shared experiences needs fixing and i need to put in my PIN every time. but if location is off, i stop getting the shared experiences problem.

A site tells me I need to add them in permissions for the camera and speakers, but since the site does not make an "electronic" request, it does not come up with a pop-up to add it, so I need to be able to add it manually, and I can't seem to find where to do that.

After a recent update Firefox now often displays a Settings screen that appears over my open windows and tells me that I need to turn on Location Services.

This has never occurred before and Firefox has performed well for many years on both Windows 10 and 11. And no website or contact has ever complained to me about a lack of location information.

So is Location Services a necessity. And is it a benefit that I really should use?

Since Firefox version 150, when you want to share your location with a website, the location settings of the Windows Settings app open - provided that you have not allowed apps, or more specifically desktop apps or if the location service is completely disabled.

If you continue to deny desktop apps access by simply closing the Settings app and clicking "Cancel" on the "Awaiting Location Permission" prompt, "Google Location Services" will be used instead.

The opening of the Windows Settings app can be suppressed by "geo.prompt.open_system_prefs" = false, and the use of the Windows location service can be disabled with "geo.provider.ms-windows-location" = false.

Is Firefox trying to move away from Google Location Services, or why was this changed without a simple option to choose? In my opinion, it would be useful if it were possible to choose the default location service directly in the Firefox settings. Not least because, in my tests, I found that "Google Location Services" are often more accurate and also because manually setting a location in Windows 10 is no longer easily possible since the Maps app was discontinued.

The newest update of Firefox makes my Windows Settings window pop up, and demands that I allow Firefox to access my location and or device.

This is unacceptable. That setting is greyed out on Win 10 machines....FIX FIREFOX. I am not buying a new computer just to use Win 11, which is nothing but spyware.

Firefox you can't X out the location services and it won't go away. It covers everything. I don't want to make a decision, I'll do it on my own terms when I feel like it.

Other competitors allow it, why not Firefox?

If you look at the attached image you will see a website address which is not able to proceed into the list below and then get authorised eg ALLOW or DENY. Please advise how I can achieve this required Permission.
