I have selected Duck Duck Go as my default search engine in the settings for Firefox. But when I open my Firefox browser it shows the MS Bing homepage and NO drop down box for other search engines. How can I fix this? This is an initial installation of Firefox on a new Acer Aspire computer running Windows 11.

When I hit 'enter' in Firefox, the search request is deleted. i uninstalled/reinstalled Firefox but the problem persists.

Version/OS: It happens across multiple Firefox versions, currently 140.3.1esr (64-bit) I should not use latest version because it is not recommended. On my Debian Linux 13 i recommended to install packages from a stable repository.

Issue: when i type some phrase into address bar to search for it, it opens a search engine homepage https://searx.rhscz.eu not search results page. I have added the SE to FF by visiting its search page, click address bar, empty it, click drop-down menu, select currently opened SE.

When I try the same search process using address bar for the second time and onward, then it opens search results page correctly. I think that this issue happens only on 1st search attempt since browser start.

Je ne comprend pas pourquoi le moteur de recherche google qui est selectionné dans les parametres se fait automatiquement remplacer par yahoo.

Hello, When I type a word in the search bar, the Google search engine (which is set as the default search engine) shows me the sites it found, and immediately afterward, the search automatically restarts with the address https://eesrchrdr.com/... before switching to http://fr.search.yahoo.com/... and shows me the searches performed by Yahoo. I don't understand why the Google search engine selected in the settings is automatically replaced by Yahoo.

When is do a search in Firefox I noticed that it now searches with "rini.drorinat.com" is this still Firefox or have I been violated? I tried to look up this site but no success, could you help with this asap please?

The previous version allowed me to have Firefox as my browser and Brave as my search engine. Now Brave is both my browser and search engine. In the general settings, it says Firefox is my default browser. I'm confused. I just want to be like it was before the update. Please help.

bold text When I use Google to search I always use the microphone instead of the keyboard. When I am using Firefox to search there is NO microphone.. I have to use my keyboard. Is there somewhere in settings where I can add this function to search?

When I download firefox, the download automatically shows Bing as the search engine, even if I designate another search engine such as Chrome. I want to delet eBing from FireFox or I will have to use another browser,
