I started using a new laptop and when I receive emails through Outlook, the excel attachments won't open and I get a message saying that I don't have the pdf software. These are Excell files, not PDF. I've tried all the suggestions on-line but they still won't download as Excel files, only Firefox files.

I am seeing pop up ads like these on the lower right corner of my screen since I updated to windows 11. I've never seen this with windows 10. Microsoft is telling me these are coming through my browser. These are not when I am in a web site and get the pop up to allow notifications, I always say no. These come @ 1 per week or less and I don't seem to be able to stop them. Is there a setting in firefox that will stop them or is this a microsoft issue? thanks brian

Also, starting a few days ago, if you type it into the search bar on the homepage, it will drop to the top. What is the cause of these issues? I'm using Windows 11.

Since I upgraded to you, I am having trouble accessing important and medical info. I would like you to put every thing the way it was before. Easy access. You erraced some of my passwords, I want them back. I spend hours trying to find my info. I am 80 yrs old and do not need this aggravation. Thank you Moira

I have a problem trying to get the app PC Express past the sign in. The app is part of the yourindependentgrocer.ca app. I have used Firefox, Chrome and Edge and have encountered the same problem. I use Proton for my e-mail and I have used all their apps for my computer. I recently changed the start up app from judymk@protonmail.com to judymk@pm.me. I don't think this is a problem as Proton says the app should not care what protocol is used as it translates the same regardless of what app is used. I would appreciate any help with this.

The recent update changed how the mute button works in Firefox, before it would replace the icon and would show text and whatnot if it was muted or wanted to autoplay; now it just always shows the mute/unmute button in a tab playing audio. This would normally be fine but it is causing my tabs to constantly be shrinking and expanding whenever the audio changes in a tab, and it's really frustrating me and it feels like an overall far worse user interface design than it was before, even if people were complaining about it. Is there some sort of middle ground where I can set a maximum tab size or something? I know this used to be a feature in about:config but it doesn't exist anymore for some reason. I've also tried using a userChrome CSS code for it that I found online; it got rid of the button but it still made the tab size change and the code I tried using for maximum tab size also didn't affect that. Really starting to frustrate me! Please give me any advice I feel like I've exhausted all my options lol

I have reset Firefox as default browser on my Windows 11 PC a hundred times in the past few months. Today, I could not reset it at all -- I click the default button in Windows 11 and as soon as I close that settings window, it disconnects. I've run out of things to try to fix this. I think it MIGHT be related to Norton 360, because I first notice this problem when I opened Norton.

Youtube webpages won't load properly after saving. They start to load but then switch to a white page. I need to be able to save a video's webpage to save links and other information for later viewing. This started happening on any computer 2 or 3 months ago. I'm thinking that youtube did something that causes the saving of their webpages to be messed up. Youtube webpages display fine on youtube.com but saving their webpages doesn't work anymore.

A user I am servicing uses Firefox every day. They are on Windows 11. Every afternoon (sometimes at other times), Firefox stops working and loses its internet connection (everything else on their computer continues to be connected).  When they close and restart Firefox to reconnect, it then tells me the user that they are using an old profile and need to create a new one.  They're able to re-log into their Firefox account, which eventually resyncs all their data, but they then have to re-sign into everything, which is a major inconvenience.  The only workaround the I have found is to reinstall Firefox, ever time this happens which then allows the user to use all their settings until they have to repeat the process the next day (i.e., everything remains signed in and/or logging back in is easier than described above).

In the last week or so I have noticed that when I go online to to purchase something or just browse for items, my location has altered from UK to Ireland. I wondered if anyone has had the same experience and maybe has an answer to help me.

I cannot log into Facebook with my Firefox browser. Even though the username and password are entered correctly, the login freezes and I cannot proceed. I am able to access the site on other devices. On my laptop, I deleted all cookies, history, and cache as recommended. I am able to log in to Instagram on this device. Coincidental to this problem: when I try to view video on newyorktimes.com, the browser freezes. I cannot view content in other open tabs and must reboot the browser.

Warum fordert FF bei Anmeldung in Ebay, Kleinanzeigen immer das PW und anschließend noch eine Bestätigung über mobil Funk. Das war vor 2 bis 3 Wochen nicht, es nervt. Weiterhin werden die Bilder in Ebay kaum noch gezeigt. Sytem Win 11 auf PC

I can't save my tabs & windows anymore, I have the box checked but after I close down the computer I lose all the tabs when I reopen and then I need to put them all back manually. What has gone wrong it always worked before for many years? Please tell me how to fix it
