Hello. I just wanted to confirm something regarding the Pocket feature on Firefox. Since I discovered it, I've used it a lot, and at one point, I ended up resetting Firefox and lost everything in there, along with everything else (I was just trying to clear a cache, I didn't think everything would go...), so when I saw the option to sync the Pocket to save it, I was interested. I also saw an option to use this Pocket sync feature with a Firefox account, which could save visited sites, so on so on.

The thing is, I see it only talks about syncing to phones. I don't use a smart phone. I'm simply using my laptop. Currently, all the pages on my pocket list are saved WITHOUT an account of any kind. Not only do I want to prevent losing everything in the event of resetting the Firefox browser, but I'm also thinking of what happens when I have to get a new laptop and have to install everything all over again.

I was hoping that if/when I got a new laptop and installed Firefox on that, that I'd be able to log into a Firefox account and I'd have all the stuff on my pocket list on THIS computer on a new one, and save me a lot of the usual hassle. Is that possible? If I log into Pocket using a Firefox account, does the sync feature ONLY back up the pocket pages to smart phones, or is it some kind of online save thing? Can someone answer this for me?

Also, I'm kind of scared that if I do log into Pocket with a Firefox account, that I'll end up losing all the pages I've made without an account of any kind. Like I said, I already accidentally did that once, and I don't want it to happen again.

Can someone answer these questions for me? I'd just like to know more before I do anything.
