How can I fix an issue that causes Twitter videos embedded in other sites to not play?

I am using Firefox Quantum 57.0.1 on a MacBook Pro unning macOS High Sierra 10.13.2.

Twitter videos embedded on other sites (example: https://www.saturdaydownsouth.com/sec-football/watch-detroit-lions-produce-perfect-holiday-themed-td-celebration/) will not play. If I click play, I receive the following error message: The media could not be played. I switched from Chrome to Firefox a few weeks ago after seeing some of the great reviews on the Quantum update, and I did not have this issue with Quantum until a day or two ago.

Current workaround is to right click the video preview, open link in new tab and watch from the source. I'd obviously like to not have to do that each time. Any help on fixing this issue would be greatly appreciated.
