Firefox Relay is a Firefox extension that lets you keep your email address private when filling out online forms. It does this by creating an email alias and forwards messages to your real email address to keep it hidden from companies you don’t trust. You can even disable or delete the alias when you no longer need it.

Why use an alias?

  • Prevent spam
  • Protect your real email address from data breaches
  • Protect your real email address from being sold or shared

Activate Firefox Relay

Firefox Relay is free. All you’ll need is a Firefox Account and the Firefox Relay extension.

  2. Click Sign In and follow the prompts to install the add-on.
  3. Click the Firefox Relay button on the toolbar.

  4. Follow the prompts to sign in/up to Firefox Accounts (register with the email address you want to forward emails to.)
