My wife has set up her iCloud account in Thunderbird. Receiving mails works properly When sending mails they go to the "Sent" folder, but never reach the addressed person. Very weird! I have never experienced before, that mails seem to have been sent, but did not go through without any warning.

Mails from the "Sent" folder can be successfully forwarded to the recipient

I set up a new computer, windows 11, and downloaded the latest version of Thunderbird. On the old computer the spam filter works normal, on the new computer Thunderbird puts a lot of normal mail in the spam folder. Is there a way to set the spam filter to not flag so many emails. I use gmail for my mail server. My iphone also uses the same gmail account and does not filter these messages

How do you take a screenshot of a full email on Thunderbird?

I need to be able to take screenshots of entire emails with all the visuals etc. Some of them do not have links to 'view in browser'.

The Thunderbird email window only shows part of an email before needing to scroll down.

Is there a way or an add on that would allow me to take a screenshot of the full email instead of taking screenshots of various sections and piecing them together later?

ich benötige Eure Hilfe. Ich habe vor kurzem eine Kündigung (9.1.24) an einem Dienstleister (Positionshelden.de) per Mail gesendet.

Diese hat er angeblich nie erhalten und fordert nun den SMTP Bericht als Nachweis. Anbei die Forderung und Mail seitens Positionshelden.de

für den rechtlichen Nachweis Ihrer Kündigung benötigen wir einen SMTP-Sendebericht mit Briefkopf des E-Mail-Providers. Diesen können Sie von Ihrem E-Mail-Provider erhalten.

Bitte senden Sie uns den entsprechenden Sendebericht bis spätestens 26.02.2024 zu, damit wir Ihre Kündigung sorgfältig überprüfen können.

I am using Thunderbird Version 60.9.1 (do not wish to update to recent version due to some add-on not available on newer versions)

I have 3 profiles and each profile have several email address accounts and each email accounts have sub-folders.

I need to transfer some emails or some sub-folders from one profile email account to another profile email account. Although both email address have different servers but I would like to view and keep them in my other profile so I have same correspondent, same subject and same date view.

Is this possible?

Thunderbird no longer reflects the IMAP structure of Google Mail.

The latest version of Thunderbird, appears to lose the previous structure un an IMAP tabe and mixes Sent and other folders within a Gmail Email account that is connected to Google mail via an IMAP account.

Searching on the Internet, most replies say to back level to Thunderbird v 102 as version 115 has this change. Is there an intention to correct/remove this annoying change in a later release?

Hi Folks. About a year and a half ago I some how got hacked in communication with a help desk somewhere. From that point on , I have not been able to use my Thunderbird email. It asks for my password that I do not have. I have spent hours trying to reset it. I have tried a clean reinstall, but it recognizes me and asks for my password. I have my email addresses saved and would be happy to do a fresh install, but I have not been able to figure out how to do this. I am very much obliged for any help you may offer. I want to use my Tbird address books as my contact data "warehouse." Can someone help me?

Tbird has a set of preferred data attributes for IMPORT into address books. I find articles and postings that discuss (1) create & open an addressbook; (2) browse & select the CSV data file; etc. Where do I find detailed preparation for a CSV that Tbird will digest?

On import, Tbird tries to match file column with Tbird preferred columns. This never works for me. I routinely see whole records with multiple "quoted", "fields" in one column but cannot find a reason why that happens.

Must I import an exact & complete Tbird CSV? Must column names match exactly in name and in order? May Tbird skip blank/empty columns where my data does not include info that Tbird wants?

After all of the above, my contact data is in numerous forms that I convert somehow that I can then obtain a CSV. I receive the data as email or shared document or some scanned to PDF or JPG. THANK YOU, LINUX for piped command chains and scripted work flow.

I still have this problem, has been over 1 year and I was hoping that you would be able to fix it since it was caused by a bug when you updated Thunderbird over 1 year ago. I have 2 e-mail accounts and only my main e-mail is affected. When I receive an e-mail, I cannot forward it, cannot open any info, cannot open any links, nothing works. The only way I can open it, is to right click on message and "send to other window", then I can finally work it like a regular e-mail, opening links, reading picture messages and forwarding it.

I found this info on the help line a year ago, but it is really getting frustrating and since this bug happened when you updated over 1 year ago, I was hoping that you would be able to update and get it back to normal. Never had problems before this.

Please advise how I can fix my e-mail. Thank you ingny
