cant send or recieve eemails for past week get this message???? This message could not be sent because The connection to outgoing server (SMTP) smtp.gmail.com timed out ... Try again ??? 

I hae no idea why or what to do now if someone could help me that would be great

for years I have used Thunderbird, and during that time have replaced serveral old pc/laptops. My new laptop when trying to open Thunderbird asks for a password. I have no record of that anywhere!! So how do i create a new password or gain acess to use Thunderbird. Im using Windows 11
