But I can not seem to find a way to go to the Start Page, other than restarting Thunderbird.
The Go Menu mentioned in the article below is not there anymore. And I can not find a Home button when customizing the toolbars.

Thunderbird stopped communicating with homtail after upgrading to v 115.0 I can send emails using smtp-mail.outlook.com but it fails to retrieve messages from outlook.office365.com There's no error message, it simply fails to connect. (A pop-up window may appear for a few seconds, then it closes, with no new messages downloaded and no errors shown) I'm using the POP setting. Tried to recreate the account as IMAP - it just shows "checking password", would not proceed any further. (No error message, no timeouts. I tried to enter incorrect password on purpose - still no error message, apparently they don't even connect.) Disabling firewall doesn't help. EVERYTHING WORKED FINE BEFORE THE UPGRADE! PLEASE BRING BACK THE WAY IT WAS!!!

I LIKE the list of correspondents and being able to simply click the dot to mark something as unread etc. etc. etc. Things like this allow me to group and highlight things I need t address.
Truly - the layout in Supernova is terrible and, h0nesty, after many many years as a loooong tie TBird user (like since early-mid 90's) I'm probably going to look around for something else if I'm stuck with this supernova layout.

some characters can be entered in the quickfilter-box. other characters (i.e. 'r', 'o' the reply-shortcut key?) fail to be inserted/loses focus, and instead the reply- or open-message-action is initiated for the selected message.
I have not tested this extensively, but the issue shows up on my Win10 32-bit system

This just started tonight: I'm running TBird 115. I have several email accounts downloading to a unified local folder. With previous versions, I could click on the Download email icon and select individual accounts to download. I can't find an option for downloading individual accounts in the 115 GUI. Is that gone?

Before I download and try v115, are there any things I need to perform so that it doesn't overwrite v102 to work alongside, until I know the new version suits my needs?
I couldn't find anything on this "try out", but I suppose it should be possible - you may want to add this to the blog post because I bet many people want to see it in action but are afraid to make their currently stable mail workflow break.

Thunderbird recently upgraded (?) to Version 15 on my Windows 10 laptop. Since them, when I go to look at the "Trash" folder, I get the message: "Unable to open the summary file for Trash on username@gmail.com. Perhaps there was an error on disk, or the full path is too long." I was able to fix it temporarily by restarting Windows 10, but the error is back a few hours later.
How do I go back to the version before version 115.3.1?

I have 2 problems with the TB Inbox.
1. When a message is marked as read and I go to another folder, the message is gone when I return to the inbox. The missing message is not in trash or any other folder. Edit> Undo Delete Message does not recover the message either.
2. The Inbox header shows 216 messages but the Inbox is empty and contains no messages.
Using Repair Folder does not sole the problems. There are no add-ons in place.
Any suggestions on how to resolve these issues would be appreciated.

my Thunderbird automatically updated on Wednesday: 'Version 115.2.3, first offered to channel users on September 20, 2023'. I have just received my 1st email with an attachment but the buttons that were previously displayed permitting me to save the attachment are no longer there - so I can't download attachments.
This applies to all previous emails received with attachments not just today's one. The attachment is there and downloadable on webmail but not when it reaches my Thunderbird client.
What has happened please, and how do I access attachments?

Whenever I try to sign into gmail, it says unable to log in, probably wrong configuration, username and password: This is in spite of the fact that I've used my correct password multiple times, I did a double check by signing in and out on the web multiple times to confirm. My email is muhammed3198@gmail.com I also checked my settings to see if imap was enabled, which it is. Please help and fix this issue as urgently as possible. I even selected configure manually to see if all the configuration settings were correct, and they seem to be, like the ports, the incoming and outcoming settings, etc. Please help. I now have two issues, one is that on my IMAP accounts with my own domain, both the recent sent and recent received emails in a thread are showing up twice. This doesn't happen with previous emails in that thread or with gmail, exchange, outlook.com, live.com, icloud, etc.... Now, I have an issue where the pop ups for calendar notifications keep popping up non stop and either won't go away by hitting "Submit to changes anyway" or if they do go away, they immediately pop back up again. 115 is a big disapointment for me, it's been highly glitchy, many add ons no longer, some that should work, don't work properly, it was hyped a major upgrade and I see very little that distinguishes if from 102 in any meaningful way except some of the icons are more colorful. Is there a way to go back to 102? Either that or I may start using Mac Mail again due to all these bugs.
