getting almost all emails as script links instead of picture links. for example ad emails may have 10 or 15 script links instead of the usual pictures links. can't figure out how to get it back to the usual. to my knowledge ai haven't changed anything

It isn't a question I'm afraid, but an observation. I am getting ready to finally leave thunderbird behind.

I've been with TB since windows stopped their IE many years ago. The first few years were good - hence small donations now & then.

I'm now a disabled pensioner & need to rely on my electronic items. Also, I can't keep up with TB constant stoppage of accounts "New passord needed" etc, which, when we could get contact with them, was told "taint us mate,,, must be the Microsoft", but upon checking, there was never, ever a problem with MS. It's got to the point where I can't get access to half of my accounts, or can get access to some, but not send,,,, or receive messages,,,, etc etc.

Now I can't get contact with them for help. I would have thought, someone in this business would have a direct email address where we can ask specific questions.

If I can't get help to use your product, it's a shame & I'm seeking an alternative.

I have a folder called "Sync Issues," that has two subfolders. I did not set these up and I can't delete them--I get the message "Command Argument Error. 11.". I'm running TB 115.6.0 (64-bit) on Windows 10 Home. Email is MS Outlook (web version). No add-ons, security software Windows and Malwarebytes.

Since 12th December Thunderbird 115.5.2 will not connect to the Protonmail server. I have not touched the settings. The screenshot shows the settings and I notice the Port is not the default but am reluctant to change that for fear of messing things even more. Running on macOS Big Sur 11.7.10.

My email provider has crashed bigtime, and may not come back for a while. I have them connected via IPAP mail protocol. Until this morning, all of my saved offline emails and folders were present despite the provider's outage. Now the saved mails and folders have disappeared. I made a Thunderbird backup yesterday using the Export/Import Tool and Save All Files. But before I try to restore the old stuff , is there some other way to bring back the previously saved offline files and emails? (I have already checked that I do not have a filter clicked. I also did a restart on the Windows 10 PC).

It is possible to have a widget that shown mails in inbox from the same sender ? It will be a good option to go to inbox zero objectice I think.

Some email listings do not open the correct email text. However, this doesn't apply to all the emails. Sometimes it opens the next or previous email in the list. Other times it can be off by several listings. Also whatever it opens is not a normal listing but has a lot of url links. I haven't seen this before...

I have been unable to get Thunderbird Version 115.5.1 to return any text search results. I use the Cmd-K global search bar. No matter what search term I enter, the search results tab remains completely blank. So I cannot perform text searches across folders.

I could always do this in previous versions of Thunderbird.

I have run in troubleshooting mode, dumped a lot of excess email, and re-indexed.

What am I missing? Thanks in advance.

I signed up for the new Thunderbird Beta. I am happy to be able to use Thunderbird again after not being able to for about 6 - 8 months. I cannot remember when it happened but the dark mode invaded my email. I have a lot of difficulty reading it and trying to type letters on it. How can I get rid of it permanently? I have spent days trying to figure it out and there is nothing to help me. CAN YOU HELP ME?

I need someone in Tallahassee, Fl, to help me with my account. Is there anyone who understands and can help me with my existing account that needs straightening out. I would like personal assistance.
