Thunderbird Support Forum

for years I have used Thunderbird, and during that time have replaced serveral old pc/laptops. My new laptop when trying to open Thunderbird asks for a password. I have no record of that anywhere!! So how do i create a new password or gain acess to use Thunderbird. Im using Windows 11

Hi, ubuntu 22.04 thunderbird 115.5.0 (64-bit), firefox firefox-120.0.r20231129155202-x86_64.AppImage. Just replaced snap-firefox with appimage and now links in emails don't work. New firefox window opens but no url is loaded. I would expect the link would open in a new tab in the already open firefox. New firefox picked up all the old config files after a bit of editing.

After recent update, TB seems to have created an extra account. My account has name <myemajl> and ends in ".com". New acct has same name but ens in .com_2. That's why I think TB created it. Which do I delete and how

bold textMy emails will not download. Optimum or Comcast or the Geek Squad will not help with 3rd party users. I dont know how to get them to download. I am using a computer that is stationed in Florida, so it has not been used in 9 months.
