How many times per day, and over a period of how many years, will it be necessary to tell Mozilla Thunderbird Email that I DO NOT want Mozilla Thunderbird Email to:

Read, compose, send, and permanently delete all my email from Gmail

BEFORE THEY WILL STOP ASKING?

In the context of Supernova and improvements, for Mac users, I request that we (finally) have a confirm-before-quit dialog. Similar to Firefox and others. On the Mac, CMD+W (close window) and CMD+Q are next to each other, it's so easy to make a mistake -- and still, Thunderbird just closes. This can be very frustrating when you're in the middle of something and/or have other TB windows open.

Fortunately, I believe this is easy to fix and implement.

How can we get this on track for implementation?

I am trying to find, if it exists, the shortcut to go to the top of my emails. I have a lot of emails in the window and when I want to go to the top I am left scrolling. What is the shortcut?

I'm using Thunderbird 115.9.0 (64bit) on Linux Mint.

Yesterday, I performed a complete reformat and upgrade to the latest version of Mint and I've been struggling to read emails in Thunderbird ever since. The text in the emails I receive is absolutely tiny - I'd say it was almost impressively small if it weren't so infuriating.

I've included a screenshot example of what I'm talking about. Note the size of the subject line at the top to see the disparity.

I've scoured the support pages and carefully followed the instructions given, but the aside from increasing the font of the program itself, there is no change in the text size of the messages themselves.

Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

Can Thunderbird be set up to sort identities alphabetically (or any other way) the same way filters are? I have a large number of them, and it can be hard to find a particular one.

I added another e-mail account to "Thunderbird 115.6.1" but its not being displayed in the column on the left, how can I get both accounts to show up? It does show up in the account settings. It seems impossible to delete any email once I have read it that comes into my inbox, so the total builds up all the time. THis is frustrating and didnt happen with my other computer

I do not have any Add-ons enabled. I enable the Menu Bar. However, after reopening Thunderbird it is gone, and I need to enable it again.

If I start in Troubleshoot Mode, the Menu Bar is there.

I am running an old version, v102.15.1, 64-bit (which I need for an add-ons that is not compatible with later TB versions) and WIN7 (64-bit)

Thunderbird build: 115.6.0 (64-bit) My "deleted messages" list shows 3 messages from the last two days. I have lost all other deleted messages and I cannot find anything in Account Setting or Settings that can stop it doing that. This has been going on for weeks.

I can not change my font size. I will restart my donation when you fix it, or I will move on; I cannot use it as is. I'm using Google instead which I do not like ...

When I open Thunderbird all the emails are listed BUT they are double spaced. This is not the spacing of an email response, just the way they are displayed when TB is opened. I'm sure it is a simple mouse click selection but it eludes me. Can anyone suggest the choice? There are two computers and one of them displays exactly they way wanted. The other one show each email double spaced before opening it. The attached image is the display I want. Thanks for any help.

Dear Thunderbird Team, When launched, the program begins to update previously downloaded mail at one of the email addresses. How can I disable this so that it only downloads new messages?

Hello, How do I configure the Keys on version 115.6.0? It is not in the Tool Bar, Ctrl + Shift + F12 does not work, and extension does not work. Please help!!
