I have a client that is responsible for sending emails to all members of a board of directors on a timely manner. All members are on Gmail. The client is also on Gmail. She has created a list in Outlook to send a monthly document. Sends it to the list. Google refuses to execute and does not notify until a day or so later. Error msg says the bulk mailing rule offended.(Rule says it comes into effect when 2500 emails sent but balks at a list of 40...go figure) The solution I am looking for would send to the list members one at a time 10 seconds apart sidestepping the Google Bulk email bulk mailing rule. Is there a way to script and call from an email list?

Can't sort emails by date - Setting selections frozen on "Subject" under "Sort By" (115.4.2) Only affects one email account, but not another. Only recourse is to sort by "unread" to get new emails - otherwise old subject emails display in the inbox.

Since 115.4.1 update all attempts to send/reply/forward emails fail with error message AUP#Out-1500 asking to verify email address -- which was not changed. Same problem after update to 115.4.2. No problem to send email directly from Spectrum's Road Runner web site.

Hi, I'm trying to add a new Outlook e-mail address to Thunderbird but I keep getting the following message: "Configuration could not be verified, If your username and password are correct, it's likely that the server administrator has disabled the selected configuration for your account. Try selecting another protocol." I have tried both POP3 and IMAP but I get the same message. Any help would be appreciated.

How do I find the email I click on? I search for something, I see the email in the list of results, I click on said email and instead of opening it, it bring up the ENTIRE thread that it is embedded in and I have no idea which one it is! PLEASE FIX THIS! It used to open up the email you click on within the thread. Now it just shows the thread. This latest update has RUINED the search function.

The hard drive on my PC running Windows 10 crashed and I have a new one running Windows 11. I used Thunderbird on the old PC and am trying to set up Thunderbird on the new PC. My email account is with AOL. When setting up Thunderbird on the new PC, it asks for the password. I am trying to use the AOL password but it does not work. The same password works on other devices. I have no access to the data on the old hard drive. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

I have recently started using Thunderbird 115.4.3 on a new laptop running Windows 11. I transferred my profile from my old laptop and set up my two email accounts as POP accounts. The problem is that Tbird is regularly crashing, mostly (maybe only?) when I delete messages from my Inbox. When I restart the program, it works fine except that all or most of the messages in Trash are now duplicated multiple times. Any ideas how to stop this behavior?

I have reviewed the previous forums on what changes to make to the outgoing stmp for outlook and have implemented them however, I am still unable to send emails. Please see attached for the edit smtp settings I am using. According to the forums these are the correct settings. The only difference is that I don't seem to have the ability to set authentication method to login as that is not an option for me.

What am I missing?
