Sometimes I click the wrong option at the top of a message from a new contact, and that option to show or not show remote contrent for that sender disappears and is never seen again.

Is there away torestore that option somewhere? I have searched everywhere.

At 15:00 yesterday, my Thunderbird was updated (behind my back).

From that moment it could not communicate with my imap server and I cannot renew my account with the server.

I now have to use webmail.

Can I please go back to the immediate predecessor as that has worked well.

I have a new phone, and I can't get my email on it without the email password. I've had the account so long I can't remember the password; Thunderbird just retrieves my email. Now I want it on the phone. Is there a way to get my password out of thunderbird so I can put it in my phone?

Problem: I'm 76 years old and technically self-taught. I have 2 Windows 11 computers. One desktop and one laptop. Both are fully updated and utilizing Office software, specifically Outlook. Not too long ago I happily discovered Thunderbird and like it soooo much better. QUESTION: Within Outlook, my calendar is displayed as iCloud Calendar which is ok for me. The one thing that is keeping me from exclusively using Thunderbird is not being able to import my iCoud calendar into Thunderbird. Is that even possible and if so, how? Please keep your response as simplistic as possible. Thank you for your time and consideration given to my inquiry.

thunderbird client website has completely changed. HELP. I tried to follow instructions to remove 'threading, but the entire layout changed. To start with the 'inbox ' view is no longer divided into columns which allowed the user to sort by sender, title, date or prioitysuch like. Further to this there are tabs all across the top which I don't want. They interefer with what I do want, i.e. tabs I have made for address book, or emails in preparation for sending. I've tried unstalling and reinstalling, but it is still this useless format. What can I do?.

Hi When I opened my inbox yesterday only 95 emails were visible less than 1 month of emails. The mail file still shows that it contains 12 gig of data so I presume all of the emails are still on file. How to I access all of the remaining emails. Thanks

We had "manually resort folders" in v102. And now, with v115 forced upon us. (This morning, when I opened Thunderbird, it was updated to v115 overnight without my knowledge. And the folders are not the way I left them nor how I want them. So I need to fix this. But the add-on no longer works. So what is Mozilla doing about this?

Good evening, when I delete an email on Mozilla Thunderbird it is not deleted at the same time on the liberomail site. How should I set up my account? Thank you Best regards

I have observed this behavior for a number of releases - currently running 115.4.2 (32-bit). TB doesn't seem to download, or at least process, a graphic within an email until I actually open it. The display can take what seems like a while. I have a relatively fast (deskside) system, lots of memory/disc, GB ethernet, and would like all graphics to be processed when the email is first downloaded instead of waiting. I don't see any setting to change this. Any suggestions appreciated.

Thunderbird says login to server outbound.att.net with username elsprogram@att.net failed. How do I get it to send my email?

In Outlook you can forward an appointment that is not created by yourself to someone else. In Thunderbird this option seems not available, or is it? Adding attendees to an event that you did not create yourself does not work.

I'm moving from win 10 to 11 in new PC. I downloaded Thunderbird. I have hidden files showing in new PC so I found where it should be. When I look for the Thunderbird I downloaded it's not there in roaming...so I can't move my profile into the new computer. I have it on a drive read to install, but it's not showing up.

Attached image, how is it possible that Thunderbird allows Bit Defender to install a spam add on and then protects it to so I can't remove the add on ?

This is just mind boggling.

Further, there is a "Why" link which should explain any logic to doing this, note there is not, and it explains nothing of the sort.

I have better things to do than run behind thunderbird to delete an extension which thunderbird has allows to "Can't be removed".

Is thunderbird with us ? or against us ?

Zmiana domyślnego adresu poczty wychodzącej nie jest skuteczna. Pomimo ustawienia innego konta, wysyłka domyślna i tak następuje z konta, które zostało jako pierwsze dodane do programu. Innymi słowy używając klawisza NAPISZ domyślnie w polu nadawcy pojawia się adres, którego nie chcę. W programie ustawiłem inne adres wysyłania, niż ten który się pojawia. Problem wg forum jest znany od przynajmniej roku 2019...

I'm debugging other problems. I go to troubleshoot mode and come back and my fonts changed.

I head into settings to fix this. Attached the view of my change while debugging to make it really big.

This does nothing. Thunderbird doesn't change the font, the size, nothing.

Hi there,

I'm having some difficulty getting my email signature for my new job set up correctly.

I want the company logo to appear on the left, with my details to the right of the logo, as seen in the first screenshot.

However, currently, the text appears incorrectly underneath the company logo. I have tried pasting the signature into a blank email, generating the HTML code and pasting that into the signature text box, yet it still displays incorrectly when sending an email.

The HTML for my email signature is as follows:
