If I remember correctly, I opened an account with Network Solutions in about 1998 for aquarien.com. In all that time, I've had few problems with NS, and trust it. A few months ago, I transferred my e-mail accounts with Wild West Domains LLC to NS to avoid the switch at WWD to Microsoft Outlook. But my e-mail for aquarien.com has always been with NS. And since about then, TB has been harassing me every third or so sign-on with certificate errors claiming that NS is not a "legitimate ... site" which provides "invalid information", demanding that I "(checkmark) Permanently store this exception" to "Confirm Security Exception". But no matter how many times I tell it to do so, TB keeps harassing me. It refuses to keep its word about "Permanently" storing "this exception". I'm a retired senior living in HUD retirement housing, who aged out of Social Security Disability Insurance at about 65 onto regular SS income. I don't know about certificates and care less. I trust NS, one of the oldest hosting services, to do the right thing. When I raised this issue before (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1397223), I got two guys snarking and talking down to me, addressing not my problem with storing the exception "Permanently", but harping on the "cheap" NS certificates and demanding in so many words that I serve their interests. It's as ethical and appropriate as parents using their kids to fight each other. KNOCK IT OFF Settle any disputes you have with Network Solutions like real adults, Permanently store this exception, and leave me out of it.

Cannot download messages to INBOX, cannot delete from TRASH, cannot compact INBOX or TRASH.

This may be a dumb question, but still need help (3rd request). In the writeup on "Cannot delete messages" there are instructions for creating a new TRASH folder to replace one that supposedly is "corrupt." The third instruction says to find MAP (POP) on file folder. How is this accomplished ?

This morning when I opened Thunderbird all entries that have other participants invited have disappeared. The entries without other participants are still there. I am not aware of an update. I can create new events and invite people. It seems the data is just gone somehow, and I somehow need it back.

OS: Ubuntu 22.04 Thunderbird: 91.11.0 (64-bit) How to reproduce: no idea

Buonasera, stamattina non funzionando le mail in arrivo in Thundebird, ho riparato la cartella a seguito di un messaggio arrivato dal vostro portale dove mi diceva: spazio archiviazione terminato. Effettuata la procedura i messaggi in entrata hanno iniziato a funzionare regolarmente ma mi sono accorto che tutte le mail nella cartella posta in arrivo erano prive di testo. Using Macbook Air M1 with Monterey.

I've spent most of the night trying to find a solution to the blank, unresponsive screen since TB updated. No folders, accounts, messages, etc. *(see attached image). I'm not the only one with this problem, but in all the "solved" discussions of this problem, none of the solutions have worked for me.

I've toggled between themes, uninstalled/reinstalled TB, checked all settings and configs, run in troubleshoot mode, cleared the caches... Nothing has worked.

I'm able to create and send new messages from this blank page, and I receive them on my other devices. So, it would seem my configs are fine. Kind of lost at this point. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, Recently my GPG keys stopped working in Thunderbird. I didn't make any changes. From one day to another Thunderbird started not recognizing my key pair. Additionally, my private key has disappeared from my computer, it is not in the settings folder it should be in. When I access the Thunderbird Profiles folder I see that there are files named as corrupted "Secring.gpg.corrupt". See the attached image. What is the step-by-step to solve this problem? I would also like to know if anyone knows what may have caused this type of problem.

I posted this question yesterday and received one reply, which I have rejected, but there was no way to respond in the thread so now I have to re-post the question. So that is yet another problem, why is there no way to respond in the thread. First question, I need a real answer and solution to the disappearance of my TB thumbnail icon under Start-Programs after agreeing to do an update. The first reply was to reinstall, which is not a solution in my opinion. I use many software's that do regular updates, and none have killed the thumbnail icons so this is a TB problem not a Windows problem. Secondly, I have spend over a week getting TB to function as I need it to function and to properly accommodate my email addresses. I really don't need to risk losing these efforts to a reinstall, and given my experience thus far, I don't trust TB to not kill my custom setup during reinstall. I am willing to work with TB developers but this kind of response is rather insulting frankly.

I recently submitted a support request where I attached two files. One of them were incorrect. Submitting correct file now. Sorry for confusion. Outgoing server: smpt. centurylink.net (default) Since last request, I managed to send from centurylink.net web page.......an email addressed to highermark@outlook.com, but still can't send by using Thunderbird. So Password reset isn't necessary. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Firewall, antivirus software or your Internet service provider.  ??? How can I do this?

Outlook email is working fine, after changing or giving password but not embarqmail address a Centurylink address which has recently been sold to Brighthouse. I use the Thunderbird app in my MacBook and my broadband provider is Talktalk. TT have now changed their email settings and I have spent two days trying to get the correct settings (the ones they provided don't appear to work). To no avail, except, after two days 'chatting', they said to contact Thunderbird. Can anyone provide me with the correct settings please? I have 5 domain names: 2 with TT (the main one, which I have managed to restore, and another), and 3 others (with free-online, gmail and yahoo). I am receiving mail from my 2 TT domain names, from free-online, and gmail but can only send from my main TT domain name. Not from from my other TT nor free-online. I don't know about gmail or yahoo as they're hardly ever used. So, basically it seems that my Incoming settings are fine, but my Outgoing are not, except one. I have gone through so many settings changes I'd like to check from scratch please, I am at my wits' end. I am a senior so perhaps not au fait as much as I could be... Many thanks.

I put in my Plus net Password and press enter and then it takes me to the next screen see Capture 1 I then put in my Google Internet Password and then press enter and it then takes me to Capture 2 and then I am completely lost I have used Thunderbird in my Spain Apartment and also at home in England for several years and it has never taken me to Google and never come up with another Language Fortunately I have logged into Google Mail and managed to add my Plusnet EMail to this otherwise I would not be able to read your reply without logging into a very Basic Plusnet Webmail

It is the first time I have ever used Google Mail it is not bad but I prefer Thunderbird if I can get it working again

I have transferred TB from a win7 to a win10 computer. I had to manually edit the profile.ini file, it mainly installed on C: drive, I needed D: drive. TB works, I can send/receive emails. However I have 2 Inboxes, both being updated using POP account. I only want one global inbox. I suspect the changes I made to the profile.inio file are wrong. Anyone know what I have done wrong?
