I somehow activated the number of emails and their volume used and can't find a way to undo this. This ad annoys me. I have win 11/64-bit and Thunderbird 115.4.2 (64-bit) running

I'm running Thunderbird 115.4.2 on Windows 10. There are several unused email accounts I want to remove but am unable to do so. When I select the account and go to "Account Actions", the "Remove Account" button is greyed out. If I select any of the other accounts it is also greyed out. Suggestions would be appreciated.

I am trying to set up MailerLite for my website email list. Whenever I send the verification email from MailerLite, it doesn't reach my inbox for my custom domain email (hosted on Thunderbird). I've sent emails from MailerLite to other emails, no problem. I've sent emails to my inbox, no problem. Do you have any suggestions for why MailerLite isn't communicating with my custom domain email? Thanks!

I have lost my password and even the primary password. Is there any way to recover from this dilemma? When I click on the TB icon, the first thing I see is Enter your Primary Password. I enter my last PW. No success. So I click on Cancel. Up comes a partial TB screen and another request for Primary PW. Click cancel again and there is TB with all my emails. It is trying to connect to the host server: sending login information. It eventually times out and asks for the Primary PW again.

I can get my email by connecting to the ISP (Frontier.com), but I really miss my TB. I think I have tried everything but nothing seems to work.

I am trying to add a MS365 mail account to Thunderbird 115.4.2 and keep getting a mail fail message, telling me the login failed, I am receiving mail into this mailbox without issue but sending doesn't work. I get an error message with 3 options, retry, enter a new password or cancel. Enter new password doesn't work.

I have set up , as far as I can tell, correctly, the password on the account works for incoming mail. The default smtp server for this mailbox is correct: smtp.office.365.com, port 587, STARTTLS, Oauth2 and my correct mail address for this account. Any thoughts as to what I am not doing?

Thunderbird instalado en Windows 10 se cae permanantemente, despues d euna rato de funcionar windows informa que no responde y no hay como recuperarlo, solo cerrarlo y volverlo a abrir.

Recent changes to #Thunderbird software are causing replies to my emails being attached to previous emails of the same thread and are not visible when they come to my inbox. Why and what solution? thanks Charlie

In my Thunderbird email messages sometimes appear not readable emails. Something similar to html tekst.

Please help me to solve the problem. I cant find the solution.

Since the big update I cannot read my messages in the message window without scrolling as I read each line. The message window is so small that I can only see about four lines of text at a time. I can't get the messages to open in a new window unless I click on them and choose "open in new window" even after setting them to open in a new window on their own.

The last update fixed the font on everything from being too big in spite of settings so now I can read a little more at a time. It's still very frustrating having to scroll constantly.

I searched and I know others have had this issue as well but so far, none of the solutions that I've found have fixed it. This just started happening yesterday randomly in the middle of my work day, NOTHING had changed! One minute, I could receive emails and then next, this error started to appear: Unable to write the email to the mailbox. Make sure the file system allows you write privileges, and you have enough disk space to copy the mailbox.

I can still GET EMAILS ON MY IPHONE and can STILL SEND EMAIL via Thunderbid - I just cannot RECEIVE EMAILS IN THUNBDERBIRD ANYMORE!

Any solutions? It's really a pain to have clients emailing me and have to check and respond to those on my phone.

Does "remove account" under "Account Actions" remove just that account or all of them? In other words, I have 4 accounts (email addresses). Will I have 3 afterwards?

I've been using Thunderbird/Eudora for 20+ years. Today, I was forced to download a new version today. In doing so, I lost most of my saved folders as well as my email address list. Just finished reentering 200+ addresses but can't figure out how to print a hard copy so I can crosscheck and save as a hard copy. HELP!!!!!.

I did not find this exact question after looking through multiple pages. I have two email accounts, that is easy enough I followed the directions online, and almost had this set up.. But then I realized I did not know how this would work. I want/need the two to be kept separate. In other words I don't need the first email displayed be from my personal account, and the second from my junk account, the third fourth and fifth from personal, etc....Ok, just hit me, I need them under separate tabs, that's what I've been trying to think of.

Is that how it will automatically be set up, or can I even get it to do that? If so how?

Using Mozilla 115.4.2 (64-bit) on MacOS 14.0

I have plenty of folders and subfolders on my Office365 account (institutional) that I access using Thundebird.

When I reorganise my emails, moving messages from the Inbox to other folders, create new folders, rename folders etc. Thunderbird loses the subscription settings. At its first launch after such reorganization, I see only few folders, so I need to subscribe again to all my subfolders.

Questions: subscribing to almost all of the subfolders is painful.

Would you be so kind to add an option "subscribe all folders", so a user can only select those folders that need to be unsubscribed?
