hi I would like to download and install firefox for android which if I understand correctly is named fenix, without going to an app store. I don't see a direct link on the main pages on the website. I noticed at https://archive.mozilla.org/pub/ it looks like it might be possible to get the apk. My concern would be does this violate any terms or licenses? Is this 100 percent ok to do? Also does the firefox owners have anything written answering this? There are websites that imply sideloading firefox might be considered using without permission and I definitely don't want that.

I've tried disabling it with the secret menu and it makes no difference. Seeing as Mozilla don't give a singular toss about the needs of their neurodivergent users I want to install an old version of firefox for android with a version of the UI that doesn't make me want to self harm. I know how to disable android updates but not install an old version safely. How do I do this?

Attached a screenshot of the new UI. As an aside if anyone can recommend the drugs that the people who designed and approved this ugly tosh are on I'd love to know what they are, must be good stuff for them all to make decisions this asinine.

I wish I could find checksum files (e.g. SHA256) along the Fenix apk releases published here or there as linked from the documentation page.

Does anybody know where I can find them? Or, if they don't, when can we expect such checksum files to exist? It would indeed be useful to know this information when downloading files to check their integrity.

I am professional developer and deliver Android rugged devices to professionals. I do not want to log on my personal Google account just to install Firefox via Google play. I am used to install via adb commands the apk packages. Why cannot we find the apk of Firefox easily to download ? thanks

Hello. I want to download Your new version of Android Firefox? Why i must use site like apkmirror.com ? Why you have so big problem to use any FTP or any site on Your servers to take this packeges. I'm trying to download android Firefox for mobile phones through PC Firefox. Now it seems that Android devices can only get Firefox through Google play. However, this is a nightmare for Firefox users in many countries in the world where the Internet is strictly censored and blocked, such as the People's Republic of China. Not only is the Internet strictly censored and blocked like android phones, so they can't get Firefox or other products through www.mozilla.org because the page will be directed to Google play. People don't have Google's android suite so they can't get Firefox in this way. So I recommend developers to The Firefox android download page provides APK installation files so that users in countries where the Internet is censored can more easily install the privacy-safe browser Firefox, Please submit my question to firefox to try to make it easier for people who can't use Google services to download firefox.,The attached image shows a reminder of censorship when using China's local Internet browser UC to access www.Mozilla.org. I recently purchased an Amazon SmartTV. It works beautifully with my wifi network. I cannot find the Firefox browswer in the app store. Searching revealed several articles purporting to instruct on how to install Firefox on smart TVs, but none of them worked for me. I was instructed to download and install an app called Downloader (which I did) then instructed to use a code (28907) which should have taken me to a menu where I could proceed. Unfortunately, nothing happened after entering that code. I could not proceed past entering the code.

My Tv uses a Firestick remote but does not use a FireTV stick, dongle or cube. I have other apps installed on the TV but the were either pre-installed or came from the app store available on the TV.

Is it possible to install the Firefox browser on my TV? If so, can someone point me to an article that will tell me how to do so?

I used a direct Mozilla link to download Firefox a couple of months ago, but Java is now disabled, suddenly, and inexplicably. I need to reinstall, but I can only find links to the hackers' playground — Google Play. I'm not going there. Help?

I hope somebody may be able to help. Many years ago, Firefox used to have a 'stripped down' version. This type of version, I cannot for the life of me remember its name, was able to be used to open the browser. It was a minimal version of the browser, starting with no bookmarks, no passwords, no extensions etc. It just allows the browser to start. It can then be used by developers to test out if the browser works with a certain app.

Be most grateful for the name of this version of Firefox for Android. Would just like to report a bug with the latest version of Firefox for Android using the Bugzilla system, Marek
