"How can I optimize my search experience on Mozilla Firefox? Are there specific tips or features within the browser that enhance search efficiency? Seeking guidance on maximizing search capabilities for a smoother browsing experience.

I want to know why Firefox on my laptop just updated itself against my settings to ask first. I did not change the settings the settings were not changed by anybody else nobody else uses that computer but me. Firefox did it and I don't know how they did it or why but I need to know why and how because I lost all my passwords everything's gone. I need to know how I can get all my saved passwords back that were in my Firefox passwords manager. I would appreciate any help that anybody can give me and if you know what's the CEO of Firefox phone number is give that to me cuz I sure like to give him a call right now.

Woke up this morning and my stupid phone had updated to the new, awful, Firefox on Android: ‎ 119.0 (Build #2015980915), 367d60e851+ GV: 119.0-20231019122658 AS: 119.0

To my horror I was seeing images on webpages, totally ruining my browsing experience. The main reason I use firefox on Android is because it allows me to turn off media. I don't want to see any of that, almost always entirely irrelevant, distraction. Now I'm going to have to use Samsung internet and continually click reader mode. This is NOT about ad blocking, it is not about saving data. It is about drastically improving the browsing experience. Please reinstate blocking of all images and videos.

...Desktop site option setting does not stick! After switching tabs for 5 mins, it changes back to mobile site view & I HAVE TO X out of tab, reopen it, & check desktop site again! You can't just reset the desktop site option on & off either, doesn't work. You MUST X out the tab & start all over. ...It's a real pia! In older versions it always worked, always defaulted even days later! However, NOT in the last few versions, why can't it still currently work now? It should! ...And god for bid you find any real support! And probably won't get it here either. ...."IS" there ANY real, live support around here? A developer email? Anything??? I know that I have had that option a long time ago and I want it back . I could save my website settings in a cloud and than if I needed I could backup them.

I am using the Firefox Nightly version and when I click on links related to Instagram, YouTube or other applications, it takes me directly to the application.

But when I click on the my course link, it directs me directly to Microsoft's own site to download the application. (Microsoft Teams)

I tried this in other browsers, but they did not have such a problem. That's why I downloaded and tried other Firefox versions, but they also have the same problem...

I also disabled the extensions but the problem is the same.

So the problem is, while Firefox Nightly opens other sites in the application, it does not open it in the application when i click on this course link. What is the source of the problem?

Yesterday the option to make Firefox my main browser turned on on my Android phone. It won't let me turn it on. I have Google on my phone, but I never updated it, I updated myself yesterday, I can't turn it off. I also have a MI browser that is disabled. When Fitefox is not my main browser, I cannot add web shortcuts to the start screen, and I use it all the time and miss it a lot. What should I do to restore the option to make Firefox my main browser? I used to have Google but now I don't know what's going on? Help me please!!!

so i want to delete bookmarks, passwords, cookies, site history, everything!!!

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but somehow it didnt remove my passwords (and no i didnt enable sync after reinstall)

Reason: I have just spent a good amount of time cleaning up old passwords that i dont use anymore or have changed and not been updated from some reason. When i re-enable sync, I dont want the saved passwords from my phone to resync to my PC. To be absolutely sure that this doesnt happen i would like to just resync all the data to my phone from my sync account.

Today, when attempting to print a pdf, connection was lost between Android phone and printer. Computers still have printing privilege. The error msg says Firefox blocked. How is this error corrected. Thanks, Jane

When I attempt to open a YouTube link in the Reddit app, it opens a window in Firefox since that's my default browser. I have open links in apps set to on, but it never opens the YouTube app.

Is it by design Speech Synth is installed in the background on Android 8? I don't have it listed in my logs that I installed, unrequested install. Also Firefox 116.0.3 now calls for Speech Synth to be installed. Is this normal?

There used to be an optio open in app option under 3 dot menu right hand corner but after updating to latest version it has gone.

I need that option badly. Please help getting that back I don't want to clear data or uninstall as it will completely ruin many settings logins layout ETC it will be chaos for me

Please allow force-enabling of the "Open in App" button on all domains.

The cause of my asking this is that YouTube no longer has this option. Presumably because they explicitly disallowed this. I want my end-user control over this back. To note, reddit still has this option.

So my request is to add a toggle to force this button to appear on all domains, if at all possible.
