In about.config i set javascript.enabled false for most browsing, unless i really need to do otherwise (e.g. ecommerce). If i close the app (menu quit), and restart it, javacript.enabled is reset true. This behaviour is not replicated for other settings i may make, e.g. dom.storage.enabled, or permissions.default.image. Being Android i have no root so no possibility of creating a user.js to override Firefox ignoring my settings. This seems to be a bug. Version is Android Nightly version 121.0a1, 2023-11-05.

Hi. first of all, your android app is awesome. That you can listen to videos or YT videos when the app is minimalized or the phone screen is locked is great feature. BUT I am not used to it and I would prefer to change the settings so when I lock the screen the video automatically pauses and does not keep playing....

Any way to achieve that??? Thanks !

Whenever I select 'don't open in app' Firefox remembers this and never ever asks me if I want to open i app again. Selecting always open in app still doesn't open in app. I have reset Firefox and reinstalled it but that doesn't help.

Since updating to v 122.0 (Android) today, my home page displays a permanent intrusive "Customise homepage" button on my Homepage (see attached picture).

This is totally redundant when you can simply access this in 2 clicks from the taskbar. Why are such cosmetic features forced onto users? Customising my homepage is something I would do once, I don't need it to be slapped on my face every time I reach my home page.

Please advise, this is extremely annoying.

Hi, I'm running ... Firefox 120.0? On a US Samsung Galaxy S22 running Android 14 and One UI 6.0.

Korean characters used to display in a uniform font but after a recent phone update, I now get different fonts (with greatly decreased readability). I can't find any font options in the Firefox app and the only thing language-related is what language Firefox menus are in. I also can't find any relevant font options in the phone settings either - can someone help?

...Desktop site option setting does not stick! After switching tabs for 5 mins, it changes back to mobile site view & I HAVE TO X out of tab, reopen it, & check desktop site again! You can't just reset the desktop site option on & off either, doesn't work. You MUST X out the tab & start all over. ...It's a real pia! In older versions it always worked, always defaulted even days later! However, NOT in the last few versions, why can't it still currently work now? It should! ...And god for bid you find any real support! And probably won't get it here either. ...."IS" there ANY real, live support around here? A developer email? Anything??? I was looking for the settings button on the Firefox Android app but cannot find it in its usual place in the meatball menu in the bottom right (I have the search/tabs bar set at the bottom of the screen). Please see attached screenshot. Could you please let me know where the settings button has been moved to? I can't find it by myself, and as this seems to be a relatively recent change I can't find anything online/in the FAQ about where it might have gone. Thank you! :)

I want to NOT open links in external apps, so I set the option "Open links in apps" to "Never", however Firefox keeps asking of I want to open the link in another app, so there is no difference with "ask before opening" option". Is there any way to not open links in apps without Firefox asking for confirmation?

When I attempt to open a YouTube link in the Reddit app, it opens a window in Firefox since that's my default browser. I have open links in apps set to on, but it never opens the YouTube app.

Im using Firefox android on my new pixel 7. I found that the 'add to home screen' option is not available on the ... List. I searched for solution. Someone say click on Install option. But there's no install option either.

The add to home screen is available on my old moto phone

Does anyone have this same issue and have a solution how to fix this? I very much appreciate all your help!

There used to be an optio open in app option under 3 dot menu right hand corner but after updating to latest version it has gone.

I need that option badly. Please help getting that back I don't want to clear data or uninstall as it will completely ruin many settings logins layout ETC it will be chaos for me

Please allow force-enabling of the "Open in App" button on all domains.

The cause of my asking this is that YouTube no longer has this option. Presumably because they explicitly disallowed this. I want my end-user control over this back. To note, reddit still has this option.

So my request is to add a toggle to force this button to appear on all domains, if at all possible.

I am sure the option to open pixiv links in native app had been there. Now it is gone. Does someone know why it is like this or how to make it work again?

P.S.: The option still exists for youtube for example

Google account addresses Not in California! Locations for search results always shows Sacramento.

FireFox search cashed cleared. FireFox app closed. Phone reloaded.

Not yet Firefox reinstalled. Last time done ALL SHORT CUTS & BOOKMARKS LOST! ANOTHER MAJOR HINDERANCE.

And NO, THERE IS NO GOOD FIX FOUND SEARCHING FIREFOX SUPPORT. NOTHING FROM GOOGLE EITHER. ALL THE SIMPLE LOGICAL "SET MY ADDRESSES". NEED REAL FIX

Currently using Firefox Nightly version 111.0a1 for Android now when trying to open a link in another app it always shows a popup to confirm.

This was not present in previous releases and I don't know if there is a way to prevent this popup as it makes it uncomfortable. Is there an option I may be missing to disable this feature? If not, could an option like this be introduced?
