When not in fullscreen, visualViewport updates correctly. However in fullscreen mode visualViewport remains fixed and never changes. Is this a bug? It's creating an issue for my webapp which has a fixed text entry element at the bottom of the fullscreen element. I have to detect the visualviewport changing when the keyboard shows otherwise it is completely obscured. Please assist me.

I use Firefox on Android. My phone/tablet is configured in English, but I would like Firefox's voice search feature to recognize my voice in French. I know that Firefox uses Google Speech to recognize my voice, but here is my problem : on every Google app/feature on my Android devices, Google Speech is configured in French and it works flawlessly (even though I have a Phone configured in English).

But I find no way to tell Firefox's voice recognition feature that I speak French...even when I set Firefox's language in French, nothing changes.

It there anything I'm missing ?

Firefox 125.0 Beta 9. Why so much memory usage in background when Firefox is not open and in use? (See Screenshot). Never noticed this before on previous Beta versions. Otherwise this version works good and no crashes.

I have noticed that for the past several months Firefox for Android begins draining my battery after being installed for around 2 weeks. I'm using a Google Pixel 7 (128GB) running Android 14 (AP1A.240405.002) in the UK.

At first, I thought this was being caused by an add-on, so I reinstalled without add-ons and slowly started enabling them day by day until I caught the culprit (which if I recall correctly was Dark Reader). However, even after I disabled the Dark Reader add-on the problem persisted, and no matter how many times I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, the background battery drain issues would eventually come back after ~2 weeks of being installed.

At present I have only three add-ons enabled in the browser: ClearURLs, Decentraleyes, and uBlock Origin. I have used these add-ons in the browser for years without any issues.

It's now got the point where I am so fed up with this issue and the need to constantly reinstall that I will be using a different browser for the time being until this is fixed. I really want to use Firefox as I use it on all my other devices, but this is too much of an issue for me to ignore.

I've included screenshots of my phone's battery consumption whilst I'm asleep, and whilst I'm watching Youtube on my TV over lunch. Both of these are times I'm not using Firefox.

Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

For some reason, when I click email links on my new Android, they open in non-private mode, and I have to clear the history when I leave those sites.

Please provide instructions for automatically opening email links in private mode.

Am I able to pin a podcast app player that is no longer available in the Google play store nor has an email or website? I would like to put it on my homepage as I use it all the time.

I'm attempting to deploy Mozilla to our android devices using MDM but need to be able to use our organization's Certificates.

I know I can manually go into the secret menu and set it to use third party CAs and that works but when deploying to over 500 devices that's not feasible...

Is there any configuration keys I can access to be able to remotely configure the application to use third-party CAs? (These are normally referred to as key-value pair)

On Firefox browser (default release or even Firefox nightly) on Android (release 14 or any earlier) when I share link to Gmail app while on YouTube Web site not YouTube app resultant email has a blank email subject

However above does correctly populate subject when using Chrome or it's derivatives like Bravo browser

I last updated Firefox on Feb 5, and had Ublock, Privacy Badger, and Search by Image we add-ons. Tonight, just randomly, I noticed that typed text wasn't appearing in the text box (although the suggestions showed up in the keyboard) at all on every webpage and site.

Uninstalling and reinstalling (along with the add-ons) did the trick. I am really curious what the root cause was. Hopefully nothing sinister.

I'm on a TCL 30XE 5G running Android 12.

I use the Android beta version of Firefox to open the website as shown in the picture. I've turned on the option Ask me when opening links with external apps in settings. When I clicked the Open APP button in the upper right corner, there was no pop-up window asking me whether to open Quark Browser as expected, but it was downloaded directly. However, when I visit some other websites such as Zhihu, the correct pop-up window appears. What is the problem?

Hey guys! so, for background, I'm using Firefox Beta on a Galaxy tab.

I have this thing when I use the browser in Multi Window and try to highlight a text by tap holding it. the pop-up menu (where you have options such as copy/cut and select, etc.) doesn't really show. this only happens to me on Firefox. what's up with that?

also, tapping a word twice doesn't select it even when I'm not using Multi Window... what's up with that?

Forwarded messages are unreadable by recipient. My notes are read OK but the original message is shown as HTML coding, not the message I see. This is Firefox for Amdroid on a Samsung phone.

When I visit new website, browser shows prompt :Add to home screen, it is so irritating, I hope firefox team will look in to it,when user need, user will add website to home screen, there is no need for it.
