When i enter fullscreen mode on my phone the android UI elements sometimes doesn't hide (see image). This occurs on sites like youtube and any other site where i try to play content in fullscreen.

There is a bug when accessing the desktop version of the website under the Android version of Firefox. Visit youtube.com on the Android phone, then click on the desktop version of the website, and then click on the video to go full screen. After going full screen, the bug appears: the control button under the video cannot be clicked. This bug does not appear in the Android version of Chrome browser

So the problem is most prevalent on YouTube but other sites as well. I'll click full screen on a video and it'll look like it's going to maximize the video but then it boots me back to the home screen. I have to click on Firefox again and get the page pulled up again and then click full screen and it usually works. Sometimes I have to cycle through this once or twice

Ive noticed on Firefox mobile, I'm unable to click any post buttons. In particular Ive noticed it when I would tap a button to upload a file (like a photo). While this happened on Facebook and Instagram, it also happens on my friend's personal project site.

This is specific to Firefox on Android. Happens whether or not I toggle Desktop mode.

It simply does nothing when I tap any buttons associated with uploading a file. The button does not visually flash or anything. Nothing at all happens.

Ironically I can't upload an image on this very form because of it, though this button does highlight like I pressed it.

When not in fullscreen, visualViewport updates correctly. However in fullscreen mode visualViewport remains fixed and never changes. Is this a bug? It's creating an issue for my webapp which has a fixed text entry element at the bottom of the fullscreen element. I have to detect the visualviewport changing when the keyboard shows otherwise it is completely obscured. Please assist me.

I've spent a long time tidying up the passwords on my main PC. Every so often I did a manual sync too. I also imported into Edge occasionally and I noticed a few sites' details there that I had deleted from FF. Strange! Anyway, I finished the tidy up and went to my Android phone (set up to sync) and did the sync there and it looked OK. I then had the idea to look here for the 'extra' one I had seen in Edge and sure enough it was there! I also noticed lots of others I had deleted from the 'Master'. Changes to passwords had been replicated successfully though. What is the logic for syncing in these instances? I then signed out of FF on the phone to stop the sync and deleted one that was common to both and then signed back in and synced - it did delete it from the PC when I synced that. This makes me nervous to delete them all from the phone when signed out and syncing upon re-connect. So, what is the safe way to make the password details from the PC be an exact copy on the phone - no extras?! My thoughts were to disconnect the phone (but hoped it would remove things), delete the details manually if required, sign back in and re-sync. But I don't want to risk the sync actually wiping out the contents of the PC! Thanks!

hello. I am a user who uses Firefox 123 in Android 14.

There is a problem with writing posts based on HTML editors on the site I usually use.

The editor is in the form of Wysiwyg, and if the image is inserted through the editor, it is impossible to continue to enter the text after the element.

Even if I try to touch the right side of the image and keep input from the right side of the image, the cursor(blinking '|') refuse to go back to the image.

Can I solve this problem? If I need About:config settings, I'm willing to use Firefox beta or nightly.

All video players on websites will, if viewed in full screen, close the firefox app on my android device. The app gets minimized and can be opened back, but all pages become bugged then and appear in half the page only, links cannot be copied either, the page will only work partially when my phone is held horizontally. This issue happens with or without auto-rotate enabled. The bug most often happens as soon as I set a video on full-screen, but can happen while the video is playing also. I tried disabling all of my add-ons and the bug still persists(I will attach a photo of my addon list). Here is a video of the bug after the app closed and I reopened it.

Sometimes, when I type a search query or a page address and hit enter, nothing happens, the keyboard is closed and nothing more happens - a blank page - no loading or anything (the same applies when you try to type a page URL).

I use the latest Firefox (124) on Sony Xperia 5IV.

I could attach a video but unfortunately only images are supported.

On Firefox browser (default release or even Firefox nightly) on Android (release 14 or any earlier) when I share link to Gmail app while on YouTube Web site not YouTube app resultant email has a blank email subject

However above does correctly populate subject when using Chrome or it's derivatives like Bravo browser

I am a frequent user of Firefox on multiple platforms, including Android 14, where I frequently use DeX.

However, I am many times forced to use Chrome or Samsung Internet on DeX to get a professional computer desktop experience.

Firefox does not recognize different mouse button clicks and neither does it view websites with high resolution, not even after selecting "Desktop mode", but instead shows a zoomed-in phone view. (I gave tried selecting various zoom levels in settings.) There may be other shortcomings as well.

Perhaps some of the issues can be avoided by changing some settings? However, please address the issue of providing a full desktop experience in DeX. Thanks for a great browser in most other respects on multiple platforms.

Hi, I can use firefox anymore, because it is not usable. If I switch between programs in Android, example firefox to mBanka, then back to Firefox, tab in Firefox will reload and cannot complete forms! All lines are clear. Next problem: If I reuse tab, I cannot load new page, I must close this tab and use new one.

Hi! I been using youtube through firefox on my phone for awhile now. Mostly since it allows me to play the video when the screen is off.

I have now swapped phone to a HTC U23 Pro. After the change everytime that i look at a video now it stutters a lot. No matter the network connection.

On my old Samsung A71 it still works fine.

It works fine in the youtube app or through grayjay.

Have removed every add on i have and resinstalled firefox but the issue is the same.

Any tips on what i can do to fix it?

I use Firefox on at least three different devices, and my Firefox account is linked on all these devises. And I have a huge amount of bookmarks, and almost daily create new bookmarks, as well as store links into existing bookmarks on my Linux Laptop. The problem is that when I then later use my Android smart phone or my Android Samsung Tablet, the bookmarks are not reflected in the same user friendly fashion as it was created or seen on my Linux Laptop. So much so that it is extremely user unfriendly and nearly impossible to store a link into an existing bookmark or to create a new sub-bookmark into an existing bookmark - also because the bookmarks can not be collapsed or navigated as easily as on my main device, which is the Linux Laptop. I need Firefox to reflect my bookmarks in exactly the same fashion and same order as I create them, and I need the bookmarks be be collapsable and navigable. I really want to use Firefox, but this disability forces me to now use Chrome, and I do not want that. Please fix the bookmarks in Firefox. I just started using Firefox for Android, as a workaround to the problems I'm having with playing my YouTube playlists.

But, I'm having several problems in Firefox for Android.

1. Playlists (the actual lists of videos) cover the video that's currently playing. My workaround to this is to play in full screen mode, but that brings up problem

2. Full screen videos automatically switch to landscape orientation, despite system settings, with no apparent way to switch back to portrait orientation without also exiting full screen mode. I've tried rotating my phone with auto rotate on/off; neither setting has any affect on the orientation.

What's extremely frustrating about this is that any workaround is actually a workaround to a workaround to a workaround; it's workaroundception.

What I really really want is to be able to simply play my playlist/listen to it without having to jump through hoops and without having to burn through data like a bonfire burns through sticks.

IMO, the best solution would be to download the entire playlist:

...in one go, and stick it on an mp3 player like it's 2009. So far, the only YouTube to mp3 sites I've found only download individual videos; not whole playlists. (And that's not really a Mozilla issue anyway; the Mozilla issues are the unwanted rotation and the video stack covering up the currently playing video.)

For several months, whenever I need something auto filled, the only thing that pops up is a button that reads "Unlock Firefox" instead of the appropriate saved info. This button does nothing when tapped and when held down, there is tactile click, but then nothing.

After I had changed the system wide font on my android, random fonts appear in all the websites that do not have custom website fonts.

The fonts work properly on chromium based browsers but this seems to be an issue with firefox. I had previously changed a setting in about:config to fix it but now I cannot find it.
