When I open Firefox, I get a supposed News site. Where is this information from? It smells of MSNBC or other MSM. Wherever you get it, is it changeable to a neutral news site or, if not, can it be deleted totally?

When downloading an image by tapping and holding on it for the context options, and selecting "save image," it downloads the image straight to the default download directory rather than asking which download manager I'd like to use. Is there a way to fix this?

Side note: The only reason I'm using a download manager in the first place is because I want to change Firefox's download directory from /storage/emulated/0/Download to something else - ideally in a quick and convenient way. All other methods I've seen to do this are like 10 years old and require changing about:config, and don't seem to work anymore.

Facebook has started scrolling down instead of up when typing a comment on the past month or so. Turning off adblock seens to temporarily fix it, but the it starts doing it again and turning ON adblock then seems to fix it and then it goes bad yet again.

Erasing cookies made no difference. This only happens in Android Mobile Firefox, not desktop Firefox. It only started happening in the past month or so.

Chrome does not have this issue at all, but then Chrome can't use Adblock or UBlock Origin either so it's a poor experience either way.

Since the last update (as of the 8th of April 2025) on the android version of the app, the browser seems unable to play videos in the picture in picture feature. The screen will get minimized, yes, but wherein before the minimization was the video still playing in small, now it is like a chopped version of the webpage. Posted a screen recording vid on tumblr to exemplify because screenshots alone don't do it justice. PiP Issue demonstrated

Hello Firefox people!

When I open a mobile app that I know the password manager has stored it doesn't work. I get prompted to unlock the password manager but nothing happens.

I need to know how to locate the password in the saved list, but since there is no URL, i don't know how to find it. The end result is I'm locked out of my app, rendering the app useless.

You might say that I should have written down the password elsewhere, but it is very long and complicated and isn't the point of having a password manager?

I knew that this has been asked somewhere, but I'm trying to get my phone Firefox browser to sync with my Kali Linux laptop. Firefox installed on each. The QR code deal is seriously way more complicated than it ever should be. Unless I've gotten dumber, likely possibility! But the instructions are do simplistic it's funny. Just click the three lines in Apple of the three dots in Android... And from there? Just lost. The is no tap to sync selection in that menu. So I'm not sure what the hell you're talking about. Why are at all doing this again? TO GET OUR PHONES TO SYNC WITH BOTH DEVICES. Duh. Anyway enough of my sarcastic remarks. I just want to connect and sync to my phone, and Visa versa

Ok, the instructions are simplistic and inaccurate at best. Three dots, don't reveal sync and save. Isn't that what I'm trying to do? Get it to sync? So, it says I have to them scan the QR code from one to the other. I tried that, and it says, "Are for using the scanner from within Firefox?" First time? No. Second time, yes. Did the same thing. And again, same thing. Good Lord tech Dept, get your documentation correct, and keep it updated. So, no clue what to do now. Anyone?

Hello! I am writing a paper and for studying I open almost a hundred tabs. Here the browser starts to freeze already in the process of opening these tabs, it is impossible to work. fox, if possible, does not collapse tabs, this is good and at the same time bad from the point of view of working with a large number of tabs. android gets stuck after fox due to the excess of RAM use by fox. I would like some of your solutions for this in the future, other browsers do not have this problem. your browser starts to feel good again with these tabs if you enter it again since the tabs were collapsed by its restart. *my phone: Shark 8, 8/256GB, Android 13

How do I turn off swipe to delete a link in collections? If I'm scrolling through the links and my finger a millimeter or two to the left the link slides and is gone with no recover option. Ive lost so many important links this way.
