The year is 2023, still no import function for bookmarks from a different browser on Android phones?

Should I just give up on Mozilla Firefox and use something else??

When I want to open a bookmark in a new tab, there's no Settings button. If I'm in a tab I wish to keep open, the Settings button is there. I'm able to use it to open the new tab, and then I can't go anywhere unless I know the address, because I can't access my bookmarks. I've been waiting a long time for this to be fixed. I don't see any logical reason for this, so I wonder if I'm missing something or if a setting got changed. Please help me access my bookmarks from a fresh tab.

When trying to open a bookmarked site, for example "https://mstdn.social/@noelreports", it suggests the site up until having typed in "noe". So, I can type in "n", "o" and "e" and get it suggested all the time. But as soon as "l" is added, the suggestion disappears. But this "l" is part of both the page title and the address, so that is really strange. Very irregularly, when I delete the last letter and retype it, the bookmark suddenly appears. On the synced Windows 10 installation of Firefox, everything works flawlessly.

I use Firefox on at least three different devices, and my Firefox account is linked on all these devises. And I have a huge amount of bookmarks, and almost daily create new bookmarks, as well as store links into existing bookmarks on my Linux Laptop. The problem is that when I then later use my Android smart phone or my Android Samsung Tablet, the bookmarks are not reflected in the same user friendly fashion as it was created or seen on my Linux Laptop. So much so that it is extremely user unfriendly and nearly impossible to store a link into an existing bookmark or to create a new sub-bookmark into an existing bookmark - also because the bookmarks can not be collapsed or navigated as easily as on my main device, which is the Linux Laptop. I need Firefox to reflect my bookmarks in exactly the same fashion and same order as I create them, and I need the bookmarks be be collapsable and navigable. I really want to use Firefox, but this disability forces me to now use Chrome, and I do not want that. Please fix the bookmarks in Firefox. Please add the following features.

Once the bookmarks are in a collection, then save the whole collection to bookmarks.

When selecting open tabs to save, have the ability to save to both collections and bookmarks at the same time.

Have the ability to select all open tabs so you don't have to select individual tabs.

Please add one option to drag up and down by tap and hold bookmarks and folders in bookmarks menu, this function will be very useful to arrange bookmarks properly.

I had to reset tablet. Downloaded Firefox Logged in My bookmarks are not appearing. Next steps to download my bookmarks.

I do have bookmarks on my phone.

How to Add bookmarks to folders in "firefox mobile"

Step 6 is the absolute weirdest way to add bookmarks to folders and it doesn't even work!

"6. Tap a few times the ←arrow at the top of the screen until you return to browsing the web"

The problem is what arrow key?.. All I have is a checkmark on the top right of my screen! I already use bookmarks/folders in my Firefox for Windows so why does this one have to be so abstract, minimalistic and counter intuitive?

My point is that I really don't want to use a mainstream browser from apple or Google and I like everything about Firefox for PC and Android except this is damn folder UI on mobile is the bane of my existence atm.

I've looked everywhere on YouTube, Google, Reddit, and of course Mozilla support. What am I missing? Please send a video or something just to clarify what I'm supposed to do in regards to adding bookmarks to folders.

Hello A little while ago I noticed that my bookmarks from this accound disappeared. I didn't deleted them. In fact I haven't done anything with them for years. But they are precious to me and I would like to ask if you have copy of them or could you bring them back on my account by any chance? (There were lots of them. When are we getting the bookmarks bar? Users have been asking for this feature for YEARS, and yet you keep ignoring us, why? Why is it so hard to make?

You don't want to give us the bookmarks bar? Fine, how about fixing the home screen? Only 2 rows and 2 pages of bookmarks? Are you guys joking? How about, I don't know, 10 rows and five columns, and 10 pages? You don't have to resize anything, you just have to use the space more wisely.

Also, can you get rid of the top left logo? It's a waste of space, I already know I'm using Firefox, you don't have to remind me every time.

Also #2, move the "private browsing" icon to the 3 dots menu.

Also #3, remove the pin icon from the bookmarks tags.

Also #4, remove the grey border of the favicons, it's more space wasted, you really love wasting space and our time don't you?

Sometimes I feel like you are you do things wrong on purpose, is Google paying you to be this bad? Honestly I can't find another answer, I hope I'm wrong.

It said all the bookmarks would be saved if I upgraded to the latest version but all the bookmarks on my phone are gone. Are their instructions on to restore bookmarks after doing the upgrades?

Need assistance in transferring my firefix android bookmarks from galaxy 22 to galaxy 23. These bookmarks aren't saved anywhere else. These are just for my mobile. Can anyone help? Thank you

Just migrated to Pixel 7 Android. Was able to sync my logins and passwords from my PC. However Boomarks didn't sync even though I selected/checked them to be synced. Why not? How do I get my PC boomarks to appear on a Pixel 7?
