Trying to sync Android firefox app with laptop. Firefox Android app installed. Check. Open android settings, turn on sync. Check. QR code on laptop screen. Check. Touch "scan" button at lower frame of Firefox

Android app, scan code on laptop. Check.

Error message: "Did you use the system camera? You must pair from within a Firefox app." No, I did not use system camera. Yes, I did activate it from the firefox app/scan button - REPEATEDLY. Somehow, firefox does not recognize it's own activation of my system camera. Please help, I need the bookmarks off my phone and onto laptop. Thank you.

I've been trying to install .xpi files for Firefox on Android 12 with little success. Every file manager I've tried doesn't give me the option to open .xpi files with Firefox and my device isn't rooted so I can't access the full file system.

Are there any articles/suggestions? I've always wanted extensions on mobile but never been able to install.

I'm not sure what category this falls under, but Android is missing a critical feature: the save for offline viewing option, also known as the download page for offline viewing. Other Android browsers, such as Chrome and Samsung Internet, have this feature, but Firefox does not for inexplicable reasons. This should have been one of the first features added to the browser when it was released for the OS. It's been over a decade and this hasn't been resolved; what are you paying your programmers for if they can't integrate such a basic and necessary feature that everyone uses and requires? Please listen to the people.

As for you know there are folder for tabs on chrome (which is a great feature) You guys made a similar tool for Search grouping which has the similar potential but less accessable since we can't just move tabs there in or our (and worse we can't even rearrange them).

So please allow us to do so. Not sure this is the right place to ask for feature suggestions, but I believe you can make it reach the right place

Hi there

On some sites I use, their aps are next to useless as are their mobile sites. I want to be able to access the REAL websites but when I change the URL (e.g. change m.twitch.tv to just twitch.tv) it simply redirects to the mobile site again. How can I force it to show me the full web page instead please ?

Many thanks

Zoe

This is for my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G: today is Monday, 2022.07. 25.1401.CDT I cannot get the microphone on android mobile Firefox[Version is labelled "Direfox Daylight, version 102.2.1 (Build # 2015891003]. The fix of turning "Show Voice Search" on under 'Search', under "Settings" has no impact: in fact I found "Show Voice Search" was already checked, and the microphone DOES NOT WORK?

I have Grammarly kb set, and wondered if other kb options as alternates but not active, like Gboard, the Samsung, Google or speech to text options, or known add-ons, etc. can be blocking my microphone? With this android mobile Firefox there is no option of entering "about..... Microphone" or other command line options do not work entered on this version of Firefox, what to do? I want the microphone "on" by default if possible as I was just dxed with Adult-onset or Type II diabetes, doing 5 finger sticks each day for my blood glucose: both fingers n thumbs every 2 days: my fingertips are so sort, even using a stylus, my kb entries have errors 50% of my attempts.

What is "Firefox Daylight"? A version for Android?

Are there other modifyiers for Firefox, like addons, or other Firefox modifying supplements like "site to ask permission for microphone" that are known to interfere or block microphone activity?
