Comments on YouTube in its phone view can't be highlighted so as to make some actions with highlighted word(s) - copy, paste, find on web etc. In desktop view comments are highlighted normally. And in other browsers (Chrome, Opera) comments on YouTube in its phone view are highlighted normally as well.

When not in fullscreen, visualViewport updates correctly. However in fullscreen mode visualViewport remains fixed and never changes. Is this a bug? It's creating an issue for my webapp which has a fixed text entry element at the bottom of the fullscreen element. I have to detect the visualviewport changing when the keyboard shows otherwise it is completely obscured. Please assist me.

I'm having trouble getting firefox to use the rear camera on my phone when scanning qr codes for a web page. The old solution appears to have been to reset Firefox's camera permissions and from there you could change which camera the app would use. However, this feature appears to have been removed as Firefox will now default to my selfie camera, which is very inconvenient. Is there an option I'm not able to see in the app or a work around for this issue? Thanks in advance for the help!

I use Firefox on Android. My phone/tablet is configured in English, but I would like Firefox's voice search feature to recognize my voice in French. I know that Firefox uses Google Speech to recognize my voice, but here is my problem : on every Google app/feature on my Android devices, Google Speech is configured in French and it works flawlessly (even though I have a Phone configured in English).

But I find no way to tell Firefox's voice recognition feature that I speak French...even when I set Firefox's language in French, nothing changes.

It there anything I'm missing ?

Firefox 125.0 Beta 9. Why so much memory usage in background when Firefox is not open and in use? (See Screenshot). Never noticed this before on previous Beta versions. Otherwise this version works good and no crashes.

Every day as far as I can remember, when I clicked on on The Fire Fox symbol I got a page of my favorites. This morning, and all day I get an Xfinity page. What happened, and how is it fixed? Xfinity says it's not their fault it's Fire Fox's problem

I have noticed that for the past several months Firefox for Android begins draining my battery after being installed for around 2 weeks. I'm using a Google Pixel 7 (128GB) running Android 14 (AP1A.240405.002) in the UK.

At first, I thought this was being caused by an add-on, so I reinstalled without add-ons and slowly started enabling them day by day until I caught the culprit (which if I recall correctly was Dark Reader). However, even after I disabled the Dark Reader add-on the problem persisted, and no matter how many times I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, the background battery drain issues would eventually come back after ~2 weeks of being installed.

At present I have only three add-ons enabled in the browser: ClearURLs, Decentraleyes, and uBlock Origin. I have used these add-ons in the browser for years without any issues.

It's now got the point where I am so fed up with this issue and the need to constantly reinstall that I will be using a different browser for the time being until this is fixed. I really want to use Firefox as I use it on all my other devices, but this is too much of an issue for me to ignore.

I've included screenshots of my phone's battery consumption whilst I'm asleep, and whilst I'm watching Youtube on my TV over lunch. Both of these are times I'm not using Firefox.

Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Am I able to pin a podcast app player that is no longer available in the Google play store nor has an email or website? I would like to put it on my homepage as I use it all the time.

i use Microsoft rewards program, in Firefox browser beta I get only mobile search points, desktop searching are not counting, I hope Firefox team will fix this issue sooner.

On Firefox browser (default release or even Firefox nightly) on Android (release 14 or any earlier) when I share link to Gmail app while on YouTube Web site not YouTube app resultant email has a blank email subject

However above does correctly populate subject when using Chrome or it's derivatives like Bravo browser

When i enter fullscreen mode on my phone the android UI elements sometimes doesn't hide (see image). This occurs on sites like youtube and any other site where i try to play content in fullscreen.

I have this thing when I use the browser in Multi Window and try to highlight a text by tap holding it. the pop-up menu (where you have options such as copy/cut and select, etc.) doesn't really show. this only happens to me on Firefox. what's up with that?

also, tapping a word twice doesn't select it even when I'm not using Multi Window... what's up with that?

Hello. I'm using the Android browser with a screen reader and I've encountered some accessibility-related issues that I'd like to report. For instance, when I initially enter an address in the search bar, there's no problem. However, when I try to search for something and attempt to change the content in the top bar, the keyboard doesn't appear. I can't make necessary edits to the text, and even if the keyboard did appear, the cursor doesn't move to where I want to make changes when trying to edit a letter. Additionally, the sections read by the screen reader such as links, headings, etc., have not been translated into Turkish. With my regards...

Forwarded messages are unreadable by recipient. My notes are read OK but the original message is shown as HTML coding, not the message I see. This is Firefox for Amdroid on a Samsung phone.
