Hi, I have a problem with my firefox app. Everytime I play or skip a port of a video, it plays stuttering and return normal only If I rewind some second (if I pause it nothing change). Anyone knows why? Is there some way to solve this problem? I have deleted every data, cookies etc, every add-on and reinstalled the app but nothing changed. I also formatted every setting of my device but same result. Oh, also, this problem don't happen with other apps like gallery or chrome. It stutters even if I have just Firefox opened video

Why do websites we have "installed" (located in the 3 buttons, top right), which is substituted for "add to desktop" want to minimize ever 3 minutes or so? This needs fixed ASAP. I have Facebook, local news websites, etc. "installed," since Firefox 123.0 for Android and before. It's been doing this 6 months now. Samsung A14 Phone, Android 14, Patch level Dec 1, 2024.

Also, Facebook "installed" will not let the keyboard stay up. It also minimizes immediately, when a post page or comment page loads and you tap the place to type (the field). Samsung A14 Phone, Android 14, Patch level Dec 1, 2024.

When a private tab is opened, it lets me know in the silent notifications on my phone with the "swipe or tap to close" the tab/s. However, once I close the private tab that notification remains. When I click or swipe the notification it goes for a second and comes back despite not having a private tab open. Even with normal tabs open it does the same thing. Force stopping the app gets rid of it but the second a private tab is opened it returns.

I understand I can just turn off that notification but it's useful to have. Was just wondering if there is a fix or setting anyone knows of or how I can report this to Mozilla?

Dear team, 1) thanks for your work! 2) I can observe a quite important problem which could make me uninstall the app. Mozilla is now draining much power, even while not using it (e.g. at night where I can monitor the problem). I can observe that since I switched to a pixel 8 phone. (Which has itself a poor living battery). The phone can hardly survive a day and a night without being charged. And when charged on everything. It can loose up to 30% battery until the morning. Another phone could be 5%. What really strange is android show me that during that period of time Mozilla was responsible for 90% of this leakage. I had sync enabled.(Tabs, history and bookmarks) I removed it, but the leaked percentage of Mozilla at night stays around 70%.

Sometimes, when I type a search query or a page address and hit enter, nothing happens, the keyboard is closed and nothing more happens - a blank page - no loading or anything (the same applies when you try to type a page URL).

I use the latest Firefox (124) on Sony Xperia 5IV.

In Firefox my theme is followed after the system theme, but there is a problem. My system theme automatically switches between day/night and after such switch I open Firefox app, it has broken colors everywhere, until I close the app and reopen it again.

Firefox for Android seems to be causing extensive battery drain compared to other apps. This happens even if I disable the browser from running in the background. Seems to be related to high CPU usage.

More recently the address bar at the top of firefox mobile covers the top of a web page. But it doesn't always do it and it doesn't seem to be limited to certain sites as I've just had it happen on a site which was fine earlier on in the week. This is especially a pain on sites such as the BBC where there are menus at the top that you need to navigate the site. It's even happened on Amazon.

Firefox mobile sometimes zooms in without able to zoom out on all sites. Seems to only happen whenever the samsung app store updates it. for context, i downloaded firefox through google play store but the samsung store for some reason updates the app every now and then. It happened twice so far, and reinstalling it on the play store seems to fix it

Firefox for Android has issues playing back YouTube video through my car stereo and some other types of speakers. Specifically, it works fine with my headphones but not through my car.

Chrome, YouTube app, and other browsers don't have this issue and my car is fine otherwise. I've had this issue on 3 different phones from 2 different manufacturers on multiple versions of Firefox for years and the issue comes and goes with updates but it has been an issue for the past few months now, so I know it's Firefox and not Android or my phones.

I open Gmail links and Firefox opens then in a floating window in android tablet. How to fix this? This is really annoying. I've tried unchecking the Gmail open links in Gmail to speed up browsing setting but that didn't work. Firefox is my default browser . I'm on news Lenovo tablet. I installed Firefox and from Day one I have this problem even before changing any Firefox settings. When I change default browser to Google Chrome it works fine . Also on my Samsung phone the Gmail links open fine in Firefox. I'm only having this problem on my tablet. Can anyone please help?

video on websites dont play very smoothly. they are always choppy, and look like they are playing on a really low frame rate. the same os true for youtube, instagram where it is very laggy when any video is played. ps. im on android, cant seem to open about:config area

Firefox android RAM memory usage gets sometimes high. I have no addons and only view tabs. Max RAM usage rises to 2 GB and my phone freezes. Opera always runs smoothly with no problems.

When I browse outlook mail on compose, suddenly it appear very lagging, I not got a chance to write a letter or alphabet, very slowly to type and almos5 hang and consume much memory. This always happen. On other website or open inbox on outlooj mail still fine, but when you in compose page, you experience lagging, even you didnt do anything. Can you fix this?

HTML5 video is becoming very choppy as soon as audio is enabled. The playback is fine before that. Tested across multiple websites.

I have reinstalled the app and cleared the cache/data.

After installing a shortcut to a website that stages as an app through the Firefox Android app (Samsung 6.0, Android 14) when using said shortcut, if entering any text box the keyboard will pop up and rapidly close and open, making it unable to use. This problem happens on any text box, and with any keyboard. I'll attach a youtube link of a screen recording as well as a gif, though it's rather difficult to see the entire problem through a gif.
