I'm on version 112.2.0 and I cannot disable the "feature" that haphazardly shoves my history in to groups that have nothing to do with each other but Firefox THINKS are related. The support post I've found discussing this promised there'd be a "disable search groups" option in version 97, but I'm on version 112.2.0, which (for those of you counting) is 5 mainline iterations afterwards. How do I fix this? It's constantly breaking my History.

Hey,

I'm looking to delete site data without deleting my history. In the app under "Delete browsing data", the only way to delete site data is through "Browsing history and site data".

There must be a way to do this? It's easy to do on desktop. Deleting site data while keeping local history seems like a basic thing to ask, I don't understand why they are linked?

Would appreciate any help, I am otherwise really enjoying both the desktop and mobile browsers. However this is a very essential feature to me as I am looking for a privacy-oriented browser which I thought Firefox is supposed to be, though this seems like a very basic privacy feature that is just missing or hidden?

Thanks

I'm sure I have the latest version and I find no way to solve this.

The new search setting on the address bar is great especially after you decided to diminish your app by only showing me 2 history in an update a year ago. Now i can just search my history again with more than 2 results. However, i want it defaulted to search my history. Why is Google the default and how can i change it?

Tldr: it would be much more usable to have the back button return to History search results, and also to be able to right click those results to open in a new tab.

When using the history feature, most of the time I am looking for something but I have done a bunch of looking for that thing and so my history is kind of polluted with false results.

These results might be a month back. If I'm trying to go through those false results, I need to open more than one. The history search feature, though, doesn't persist beyond a single click, and does not have the opening new tab function. So, if I am to go through those results, I have to keep redoing the same history search.

I have no idea if it's even possible, but on Desktop I can sort my history in the order I've visited them, from the latest being on top to the ones visited a long time ago towards the bottom (and this should really be the default method for sorting history).

How can I achieve this on Firefox Nightly for Android?

That and the behaivor of grouping similar results makes the history manager on Firefox Android AWFUL. At least on PC you can sort by last visited, it's just that it scrolls you back to the top of list after you click on a result that was down the list. I don't know what's worse to be honest. Mozilla really needs to fix their **** as this is part of the reason they have an the overall userbase is in the single digit percentages.
