Dear all,

I just found that in Firefox 139 for Android the menu buttons "Install" and "Add to Home Screen" disappeared. I tried deleting the cache, reinstalling, restarting the smartphone. I tried different websites, included well-known PWA apps (i.e. https://github.com/mdn/pwa-examples ).

I'm on Lineage 22.2.

Am I missing something?

Example with facebook.com in the images. Note that on x.com a popup asks me if I want to installa the app version of the website, but the menu options are still missing. It's only website I found where that popup shows up.

It was necessary to reset my laptop ( win 10pro ). What steps do I have to take to restore the FIREFOX data via SYNC (?)... the device is listed in the account - but how do I transfer the browser data there (... copy and install into the browser of the computer .. )?

Hi. When I go to YouTube.com on the Firefox mobile browser, I cannot for the life of me find my notifications. On the Firefox PC browser, there is a bell icon in the top right of the screen, but not only is it missing in the mobile browser, I cannot find any button or section labeled "notifications." Please advise.

When using the UBLOCK ORIGIN extension i cant Join the app. i need to turn it off, then I can join the Firefox nightly. I need help because I use this extension so much.

For the last 2ish months, Firefox will refresh the page if I just place my finger on the screen.

If I put my finger on the screen (not swiping down) the refresh wheel will pop up and refresh the page.

It doesn't happen all the time, maybe once or twice a day, but it happens on every page and causes me to lose stuff like where I was on a page and what I was typing. It doesn't do it when the keyboard is up.

Any suggestion as to what's wrong with it?

NOTE - I HAVE ALREADY TOGGLED OFF ALWAYS REQUEST DESKTOP SITE. Since the latest update (6/2025), Firefox is always showing the desktop site EVEN THOUGH I HAVE TOGGLED OFF THE ALWAYS REQUEST DESKTOP SITE (SEE PHOTO). I have checked my settings, cleared cache, restarted my tablet (I'm on a Samsung Tab A8). See photos attached. Every time the page automatically refreshes, all the data I have input is lost, forcing me to restart the process from the very beginning. This happens repeatedly and is extremely frustrating.

I request that this auto-refresh functionality be disabled. It would be much better if the refresh action could only be initiated manually by the user. This would ensure that data being entered remains intact without interruptions that cause the process to restart.

On my Samsung Galaxy s6 when I try to add to the home screen and then choose the option to tap and hold and drag to the screen, it just closes the app it is nothing. It doesn't work. The text options from the pop-up do work but the main graphic where it's trying to get you to drag and drop it does not work.

I have bookmarks in Firefox (Android) nested several layers deep. Every time I tap the Bookmarks menu item, I am sent to the top level Bookmarks folder, where I then have to tap through several layers of folders to return to the place I was just at. It is maddening.

Is there an option to return to the last Bookmarks folder I viewed? This seems like a basic usability feature. (It's certainly a feature in Brave for Android.)
