Firefox for Android Support Forum

I use Firefox on at least three different devices, and my Firefox account is linked on all these devises. And I have a huge amount of bookmarks, and almost daily create new bookmarks, as well as store links into existing bookmarks on my Linux Laptop. The problem is that when I then later use my Android smart phone or my Android Samsung Tablet, the bookmarks are not reflected in the same user friendly fashion as it was created or seen on my Linux Laptop. So much so that it is extremely user unfriendly and nearly impossible to store a link into an existing bookmark or to create a new sub-bookmark into an existing bookmark - also because the bookmarks can not be collapsed or navigated as easily as on my main device, which is the Linux Laptop. I need Firefox to reflect my bookmarks in exactly the same fashion and same order as I create them, and I need the bookmarks be be collapsable and navigable. I really want to use Firefox, but this disability forces me to now use Chrome, and I do not want that. Please fix the bookmarks in Firefox. I want to see all web pages in desktop view, without having to change the setting for each page I go to. This is an option in other popular browsers. Why not this one?

And please don't tell me why mobile view is better or why I don't really need the feature I'm asking for. I know what I want. And I know exactly why I want it. And I know I'm not the only one who wants it. in July 2021 someone asked for the same thing and Paul replied, "This is something that we are currently working on and hope to include in a future update very soon (it is currently in our Nightly version while it is being tested)." A year and a half later, it's still not available, including (as far as I can see) in the Nightly version. Yet in both instances of this feature being requested, the topic is marked "Solved" and archived. I guess the "solution" is to ignore what users want and force us to use the product in the way you think we should. Very Apple/Google of you!

Between this, no ability to export bookmarks from mobile, and very limited extension support, I'm finding myself ready to give a very bad rating in the play store and switch to another browser.

It said all the bookmarks would be saved if I upgraded to the latest version but all the bookmarks on my phone are gone. Are their instructions on to restore bookmarks after doing the upgrades?

I just downloaded Firefox to use on my Chromebook and Android phone to replace Google Chrome. I want to import my bookmarks from Google Chrome, but it says I can only do that by clicking on the "three bar" or "hamburger icon" menu button, which I can't find anywhere on either my Chromebook or phone. I've been searching for where to find it or ways to make it show up, but nothing works, not even hitting ALT on my keyboard. If I can't import my bookmarks from Chrome to Firefox, then I'll just go back to Chrome. Has anyone had this problem before and/or knows what to do to fix this?

Hey I am using Firefox Browser in my daily routine and want to bookmark some websites but when i close the firefox browser all my data removed. I use Firefox for Android on my tablet (8" Samsung Galaxy tab S). It's really annoying that I can't add lots more of my synchronised desktop bookmarks to the homepage (which is mostly blank space, since I don't find all the suggestions, etc. useful). It would be great to give users more scope to customise this feature.

I am using a fire fox browser in my windows PC and i would like to have the same book mark tool bar displayed on my android fire fox app. in addition is there is any way to keep opened tabs sync always; meaning having the same mirror on both devices.

Why haven't Firefox developers provided a method to automatically sort bookmarks alphabetically for Android users? It's been years since any progress on this issue. Your Android users should not be ignored!!! Is there a problem with Google? Vesa2789
