I just lost several hundred tabs on Firefox mobile right after it updated itself. The most recent tabs show only ten of those tabs, which were all opened and closed today and aren't part of what I need to restore.

How do I get my tabs back? I've seen no 'restore previous session' option. My laptop only shows the few I have open now. What do I do to restore them?

Regular usage of Firefox results in crashes; usually have no more than 4 tabs on, but also crashes even with only one tab on. Using other mobile browsers (Brave, Chrome) with the same or even more level of usage does not result in crashes, leading me to believe the problem is with Firefox.

This problem was already asked previously (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1431267) but has been archived without a solution that worked for me.

I have an old Lenovo tablet running Firefox 68.11 in Android Kitkat (4.4)

This device has never synced before, and as you know Mozilla, for reasons known only to themselves, never made a simple bookmark export in the Android app.

My attempts to set up a sync has also failed, access to https://accounts.firefox.com is apparently inaccessible, the page never loads, except for the logo you can see below.

Am I just out of luck?

I've had no issues with Firefox Sync on desktop but frequent issues on Android.

Yesterday, it failed in a different way, announcing that I needed to sign into Sync. I've tried a dozen times yesterday and today using both QR scan and email confirmation. All fail in various ways. For example:

• After scanning QR code: "500 Error Oh dear, something went wrong there"
• After scanning QR code: "Pairing not successful. Error while creating the pairing channel"
• After scanning QR code and approving on mobile device and desktop, desktop says success, but phone stays on "Approval now required from your other device" Interestingly this page isn't open in the normal browser. If I click the three dot menu, it says "POWERED BY FIREFOX, Open in Firefox"
• After going through all the steps and it saying "You're signed into Firefox," yet when I go to share a tab, it asked me to sign in.

Any tips on getting Firefox Sync to work? I don't see any troubleshooting sections in the online help articles.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra running latest Android update and latest Firefox update. I set Firefox as my default browser. I have un-installed all updates for Samsung Internet and removed all permissions for it. Disabling it is greyed out. Some apps that I use have links to websites. Too frequently, when I go to one of those links, the intro screen for Samsung Internet opens. Then, when I look at the settings in Firefox it is no longer set as the default. Then I set Firefox to default and go to my phone settings to see that Firefox is selected as the default. If I open the previously mentioned app and choose the web link, Firefox will open. But somewhere along the way, the default changes back to Samsung Internet and it's a vicious circle. I have posted in a Samsung forum but haven't gotten a reply that solved the problem. Please help. I have a Blackview Tab16 (10" screen), which I bought last year; it was running Firefox quite happily until a couple of months ago. Now when I click on the icon, I get a sort of 'welcome' screen (with some message about a search widget?) for a fraction of a second, then FF closes and I get an error message saying 'Sorry. Firefox had a problem and crashed.' The version of FF is 126.0. I was told to try clearing the cache, but there is nothing there to clear! The tablet is running Android 12 / DoKe OS V3.0.

I have an 8" Blackview tablet which - despite needing to be plugged in to run all the time! - opens & runs Firefox perfectly happily. It's my main browser on my MacBook as well, and will run on my iPhone.

Aren't they internal LAN ip's? How can they be seen even without a VPN when I have NAT.

When I click on the scan feature next to the FireFox's search box, FireFox only shows a black screen. Same issue exists when I try to sign in to my FireFox account using the QR code scanner option. My camera outside FireFox works fine.

i like firefox on my cell phone as well as on my pc, but i encounter a problem on my tablet. The screen is big enough that I could display my bookmarks bar permanently (as well as tabs). if I want to look up several things quickly, which would certainly be possible with my tablet with keyboard and mouse, I can't even do that because I can't open the bookmarks that quickly.

however, i can understand that this is not permanently implemented, but i would like to have a customization option via on/off in the settings and while we are on the subject, an option to switch tabs on/off like on the desktop like the page marker permanently on desktop mode would be really nice.

of course it could be that these options already exist, then it would be that i am too stupid to find them because i really couldn't imagine that they don't exist and have already rummaged through all the options.

Hey, Can't seem to find the master password feature on android that's on the desktop version. Saw a previous thread from a year ago that implied that it was cause the unlocking of the phone was enough, but that didn't make sense to me, because you have to unlock a computer as well?

The Salt Lake Tribune apparently uses tinypass.com as part of its reader access to their e-edition. This morning the access was not functioning. Tribune staff says one "must use Chrome or Google" not Firefox. This is from my Samsung phone. I'll have to check whether the Win10 desktop has the problem.

I want my context menu in Firefox for Android to be as clean as possible. But there are annoying actions in it: Search in Edge and "Create Note" that runs Microsoft Edge and Microsoft OneDrive respectively. I need these apps from time to time so I don't want to uninstall them. Is there a way to turn off this integration between Firefox and Microsoft-related apps?
