I just did a Google image search on my pixel 8 and saw that all the image results were forced to "fit width" so I can only really see 1 result at a time. I have the "Google Search Fixer" installed and dialsabling it returns the image search view to gallery. But when I enable to addon it goes back to that "ft to wish" view.

I've looked through the options and tried searching for similar problems/solutions and found nothing. How do I return my Google image search view to gallery? It's really obnoxious and frustration to only be able to see 1 image at a time when searching.

The URL autocomplete behavior changed for me recently - it appears to be incorporating "top sites" to its suggestions. Typing "P" into the address bar now suggests "pinterest.com", "D" gets "diply.com", "C" gets craigslist, etc - none of these are sites that I've visited, they aren't in my history or bookmarks.

In firefox focus, I can turn this behavior off by going into the autocomplete settings and disabling "top sites", and it doesn't happen on my desktop Firefox- how do I disable these junk suggestions in Firefox Android?

Can't find anything about it, just presumably on browser Firefox. When I accidentally tap "Bing search", it opens up Microsoft Edge, which I don't even have. Deleting Bing as a search engine does nothing. So yeah, please help?

If I visit a website that supports OpenSearch, how do I add it as a search engine?

The article Use gestures in Firefox for Android says I can long tap on a Web Address to add a site as a search engine: however on Android 10 this only gives me the standard "Open", "Cut", "Copy", "Paste", "Share", and "Read aloud".

Manage my default search engines in Firefox for Android has a section on adding a search engine, but it is cumbersome (manually adding the URL and "%s" for the query string). Plus it then lacks useful features of the OpenSearch standard, e.g. displaying an icon.

When the "Google Search Fixer" addon is installed and the "Pull to refresh" gesture is enabled, I am not able to freely scroll up on the search results page. After scrolling animation finishes, if I try to scroll up, the browser thinks that I want to refresh the page, therefore the input is sank.

This is an Microsoft Bing User Who Doesn't Use Google, Here I Had already Using Microsoft Edge, But Still I Was In Search Of an Non Chromium Browser and I got this, here I had to set my default search engine to Bing but it restores To Google Every Time I reboot my device or when the app crashes or while entering the app and also Bing Homepage Freezes Everytime I select the search bar. There is an issue with mobile version of Google page, page loads as white page even at freshly installed Firefox nightly without any addons etc. When searching via address bar results are presented normally, but then when click on Google button to go into main page it load white page again. In addition I have checked it in my other device and it was the same behaviour, so it seems that something wrong is with Google itself. When use option to view page in desktop/computer mode page loads normally.

I am attempting to set Firefox as my search engine on my Android phones. I have to add Firefox under "Other" as a search engine but it is asking for the "Search String" for Firefox. I am looking for the search string address for Firefox and gives an example using Google. How do I find the Search String for Firefox?

I installed the "Google" app and the "Firefox" app. When I used the "Google" app to search for images, I found that I couldn't open the searched websites. I tried to use the Samsung browser or Chrome browser and did not have this problem. I'm a 54yr old man, and if I want to search for porn, I should be able to. Your browser doesn't have good results with porn searches. Why is that? Nothing but unrelated crap in images and videos tabs and the sites it offers in "all" tab list are minimal and most of the time unrelated to search criteria. It's as if it thinks I'm some child that needs a net nanny. Come on guys!

Google homepage not loading on my mobile. Done all the recommended things, reboot, restart clear cache, uninstall, reinstall nothing works. My husband then checked his phone and it is not loading on his either. Checked for updates and there are none available. We are running 121.0.1 Any advise or hepl appreciated.

I downloaded Firefox to get away from Google, but Google is the default search engine. Can't Google collect data from my searches? Then why do I need Firefox? (Please don't suggest that I switch to DuckDuckGo because I find that search engine problematic.)

This problem is like this.

When I closed firefox android version After searching with keyword in address bar, usually when I restart app and if I try to input keywords in address bar, previous keyword has to be removed by typing a first alphabet in order to prevent combining previous keywords and new keywords.

But now my firefox has made a trouble by combining of previous keywords and new keywords.

It is really inconvenient because I have to manually remove formal keywords with back space key whenever I use keyword searching in address bar of firefox.

This issue exists in only firefox. As to other my browsers don't have such problem.

I'm on version 112.2.0 and I cannot disable the "feature" that haphazardly shoves my history in to groups that have nothing to do with each other but Firefox THINKS are related. The support post I've found discussing this promised there'd be a "disable search groups" option in version 97, but I'm on version 112.2.0, which (for those of you counting) is 5 mainline iterations afterwards. How do I fix this? It's constantly breaking my History.

How do we permanently block and keep a website from being able to return bk into a person's life after the site was the cause of an immense amount of financial and emotional hardship. By having something that does this, like the Duck browser does, our clients, friends and family will feel more safe, right?

On Firefox for Android, when typing a URL, firefox autocompletes with the wrong URL. Example, when I type the letter "e" it will always suggest ebay.com. I don't want to go to ebay.com, I never want to go to ebay.com. How can I disable this "feature"?
