I signed into my Firefox account on my android device expecting to be able to access the bookmarks in my bookmarks bar. I cannot find those bookmarks in the android app. All I see are Desktop bookmarks Anyone know how to access bookmarks in bookmark bar?

I use Firefox on at least three different devices, and my Firefox account is linked on all these devises. And I have a huge amount of bookmarks, and almost daily create new bookmarks, as well as store links into existing bookmarks on my Linux Laptop. The problem is that when I then later use my Android smart phone or my Android Samsung Tablet, the bookmarks are not reflected in the same user friendly fashion as it was created or seen on my Linux Laptop. So much so that it is extremely user unfriendly and nearly impossible to store a link into an existing bookmark or to create a new sub-bookmark into an existing bookmark - also because the bookmarks can not be collapsed or navigated as easily as on my main device, which is the Linux Laptop. I need Firefox to reflect my bookmarks in exactly the same fashion and same order as I create them, and I need the bookmarks be be collapsable and navigable. I really want to use Firefox, but this disability forces me to now use Chrome, and I do not want that. Please fix the bookmarks in Firefox. Ever since upgrading to the latest version I'm having all kinds of problems with my s22 Galaxy Android. Thinking somehow like on a PC it would save all my bookmarks I deleted the app and then reinstalled it only to find that I've lost everything! Is there a way to restore this?

Android Samsung fold 4 has had Firefox with bookmarks from initial set up..doesn't automatically add new bookmarks and no folders immigrated from other FF devices which work between themselves!

    I also get no sync listing when I hit the 3 vertical dots, tho the phone is listed as active I'm ff devices on mymacs!

It appears to me that one can only rearrange or move the position of a bookmark (in Firefox) via a PC and not with an android phone.

Is this correct? If not, could said instructions for doing so via an android phone be forwarded?

The official instructions say to put a bookmark in a folder click on three dots, click to edit, then click on either a particular folder or some non-existent generic folder button. In my version of android Firefox, neither alternative is possible. If I go from the edit bookmark screen to the preceding general screen (where the folders are listed) and click on a folder, both happens, the bookmark is not transferred to the folder. As for the second, one is told to open the edit function and then click on the folder button. But there is no folder button. How to do it? I'm running android 14 on a Galaxy A14.

merry christmas all ... in bookmarks why can't you organise them the way you want to ie: move them up or down in the order you want them... I can't find a way of doing it. and secondly on the homepage in the image I have uploaded why is there so much wasted space? and you can only have 2 rows of shortcuts. I am using the app on my phone and tablet which are both samsung galaxy phone is A34 5G and the tablet A8 thank you very much

My computer laptop is bit outdated. I will get a new laptop soon. However, I do have some problems with my cellphone. Will be doing Factory Reset this weekend or later. But, I need to save my bookmark on my cellphone. Is there a better way than not be able to use export.

I can't seem to find a way to pin bookmark tiles on the homepage (new tab). I also want to stop recently visited site tiles from appearing there if possible. Homepage and Customize in Settings don't seem to have any options for that now. Android 14, Firefox 120.0.1, Pixel 7a phone.

Hi there, I recently downgraded Firefox on my Android (5.1.1), as the new versions of the app became to get heavy.

I have logged in with my Account and am now trying to get the bookmarks synced. I have no Desktop right now to pair. The bookmarks and the Account are only available on my iPad, where FF is logged in and has the bookmarks synced.

Any ideas how I can fix this? Thanks for any help and regards, Dan

Okay i have lost all my bookmarks on my pc but i still have them on my mobile, doe anyone know how to export or save them all so i can reload them on the pc, thanks in advance

Good morning everyone. I find managing bookmarks on Firefox for Android extremely difficult. To open a bookmark I have to click on bookmarks, desktop bookmarks, bookmarks bar, favorites bar and choose the bookmark. A very long journey. Furthermore, once I have opened a bookmark and subsequently want to open another one I have to repeat the same very long procedure, Firefox does not resume from the folder where I opened the last bookmark, as happens in other browsers. I don't know if I explained myself. Can it be remedied somehow?

Hi , I have Firefox on old android device ( android 4.0.1 ) and I have a lot of bookmarks on it . I need to backup or save my bookmarks to use it on my new android phone . The problem ( I can't sync or use my fireFox account on the old phone because Firefox not support android 4.0 anymore _ so old devices can't sync anymore) When I try to sync it give an error with empty page.

I have Firefox 118.1.0. I am unable to access file:///data/data/org.mozilla.firefox/files/mozilla/ in the browser's address bar. How would I access this? I wanted the bookmarks file.

When trying to open a bookmarked site, for example "https://mstdn.social/@noelreports", it suggests the site up until having typed in "noe". So, I can type in "n", "o" and "e" and get it suggested all the time. But as soon as "l" is added, the suggestion disappears. But this "l" is part of both the page title and the address, so that is really strange. Very irregularly, when I delete the last letter and retype it, the bookmark suddenly appears. On the synced Windows 10 installation of Firefox, everything works flawlessly.
