Please, please, please... bring back the pre v. 100 ability to not remember History, and to completely Close Apps when closing Firefox!!!

I have to go into Android Settings/Apps/Firefox/Storage/cache and delete all, because Firefox freezes now at each use, as it is suddenly remembering every site opened, despite my checking the boxes not to remember sites upon closing, as many sites are opened accidentally, triggered by being the default browser. Deleting app data in Android Settings, every time it opens, now is only thing that fixes when Firefox is unresponsive.

I really miss the pre 100 versions, when Firefox was dependable, fast, and lean in data use. And tried all the other new versions, but they all have the same site cookies or data hoarding problem. That is a very data heavy way to be fast, that leads to a lot of crashes where internet infrastructure is minimal.

Please, if you can. Let me know how to change it? I stopped using Firefox for a long time. For awhile I got whoever deals with that problem to change it. I guess. But it started again. I don't know Spanish. I know English, and I am currently working on Sioux Tribe language. But I am not really versed in any language except English for everything I receive from Firefox to be in Spanish.

tabs that i have open in incognito mode will close automatically. is there ANY way to change this, it's very very irritating. it seems to be an automatic "feature" with no setting to turn it off. i'd like to keep tabs open in incognito mode. thanks.

I'm getting bombarded by this domain. I get notifications at the top of my phone and shows it's from firefox. When I click or go to firefox there's nothing indicating this domain. Nothing in history or anywhere else. I've run AVG several times and again nothing shows. Don't know where to locate this spam, to iradicate it.

When I search for places and where to go it take me to a navigation app I don't have so I have to get out type in the address on Google maps to get where I'm going

For the love of God allow Android users to disable this unending torrent of push notification requests for *all* websites!

You have it for the desktop, you could disable it in about:config if you hadn't also disabled that for Android users. Please fix.

Hello, i use web that are sometimes related only to me. most times its porn and its my personal logins too which i always forget to sign off. Google too keeps a record of web when signed and shows what we are into. pls make it easy Opera have a quit key with clear all

When I have "Open links in apps" turned on, for some reason all links to xda-developers.com URLs are directed to the Nextcloud app — which obviously doesn't know what to do with them.

I enjoy the "open in app" feature but this is frustrating. I checked in the app information settings that the Nextcloud app doesn't open any URLs by default, and certainly not specific to xda-dev...?

I Have gone thru absolutely every menu setting visible in FF for Android... and there has been no current findable answer provided in the forums. What's the deal? This should be easy. If it's just no longer an option, please say so. There's Nothing under "Enhance Tracking Protection" whether OFF or "standard"; Nothing under "Customization"; Nothing under "Private Browsing"; Nothing under "HTTPS ONLY" -- Not when enabled or Disabled; Nothing under "Site Permissions"; Nothing under "Exceptions". i can't don't remember seeing them logo page before but maybe it's new.. just thought I'd bring it up. Same on my other devices too, beta or stable , didn't matter.

I've seen other references in the about pages which seem to imply i'm using a nightly build in addition to the logo..

My desktop Firefox recently decided to permanently change http to https for my lab Web site. My lab server can't handle https so I was unable to view my Web site using Firefox. I was able to correct this problem by going to Hamburger icon > History > Manage history, searching for my Web site, right-clicking on one of the found items, choosing Forget About This Site, and clicking on Forget.

How can I do this on my Android phone? I haven't been able to find the corresponding functions in the user interface.

I'm using Firefox 105.2.0 on my phone.

I know this is a feature of Android and/or my keyboard (Gboard), but is it possible to prevent putting a space after a period when typing in the address bar? Otherwise I end up with things like "firefox. com" which gets sent to the search engine. Thanks

I would like to see the desktop version of web sites on my tablet by default. FF lets me choose desktop view manually for specific pages when I open them, but I shouldn't have to do that each time. Is there a way to make it permanent?
