Was painstakingly transferring my collections of bookmarked links from my old Android phone to my new one (please fix this so entire collections can be moved as one, rather than individual components). Not halfway through yet; all was going well, and suddenly I got the message "Unable to send - Retry." Multiple tries; no further success. Nothing had changed re the wifi connection for either phone. Hoping this is something simple.

How to Add bookmarks to folders in "firefox mobile"

Step 6 is the absolute weirdest way to add bookmarks to folders and it doesn't even work!

"6. Tap a few times the ←arrow at the top of the screen until you return to browsing the web"

The problem is what arrow key?.. All I have is a checkmark on the top right of my screen! I already use bookmarks/folders in my Firefox for Windows so why does this one have to be so abstract, minimalistic and counter intuitive?

My point is that I really don't want to use a mainstream browser from apple or Google and I like everything about Firefox for PC and Android except this is damn folder UI on mobile is the bane of my existence atm.

I've looked everywhere on YouTube, Google, Reddit, and of course Mozilla support. What am I missing? Please send a video or something just to clarify what I'm supposed to do in regards to adding bookmarks to folders.

You ppl really need to fix FF mobile to allow connection to Arris routers!

This is all the new TLS standard problem. Arris does not have any update to Arris routers!

There a workaround on desktop but you're completely screwed on mobile!

As it's already mentioned in the subject, I can't play videos from netflix in browser. Using Firefox's Beta Version latest version 109.0b5 (as per the time of writing). Clicking on playback, the page says either you aren't on the latest version of Firefox or You can instantly watch this title at the moment. Please look into this.

I've noticed since I've replaced my Samsung tablet with a newer version (S6 Lite running Android 12) that this version of Firefox is not picking up the favicon on my website. When I save the website shortcut to my homescreen, instead of the favicon Firefox is picking up the first image it finds on the page.

So - if I save all five webpages of my website to my tablet, each will have a different image - and none of them will be my favicon. The image from my tablet screen, attached (5 rows x 6 icons, against a beach backdrop) - shows three of the pages from my website, circled in yellow. You can see that none of them have picked up my fish favicon, and some of them have picked up the Etsy image link instead.

This problem of the favicon being ignored isn't being replicated elsewhere - my PC (very ancient, running an up to date Firefox browser) shows the favicon in the browser toolbar and on the homescreen, and my Samsung phone (equally ancient, running an up to date Chrome browser) shows the generic alphabet letter icon when the website is saved to my homescreen (this is not a problem, I'm just mentioning it). Images attached.

Is there a simple fix for the favicon being overridden, or a workaround? I'd be grateful if someone could explain why it's happened and what I can do to fix it. I'm conscious that if someone saved my website to their browser using just the favicon and no text, as I do, they might simply delete it if they don't recognise the favicon. Thanks in advance. So I downloaded the nightly Firefox after the normal Firefox app on Android failed to respond to about.config types in my search bar. The nightly, same result. The beta same result. It just comes up with a error saying address not found. I have 3 add ons active. Dark Reader, Privacy Badger and Video Background Play Fix which none of these turned off yields different results. How do I get to about.config and preferences configuration settings? see photo i uploaded of the error. I have startpage as my search provider.

I used to be able to save web site shortcuts to my home screen, but it didn't actually save any more. Also, all the existing ones disappeared after the last reboot after the last update.
