I’ve used Firefox for many years on both my pc and mobile and keep them both up to date and use sync. However recently when using the app and wish to enter my username and password with autofill, after using my phones passkey, I can find the website on my password list but the username and password are not being displayed and will not autofill to the website I am attempting to use. However, when I am using the website on my pc I have no issues at all. Even after manually entering the username on the app password list and attempt to access it again at a later time, the username and password are not being displayed or deleted. Recently, my Firefox on iPhone crashed (again ...) and after I restarted it, the familiar "restore your last session?" prompt appeared. Acknowledging it however yielded an empty Firefox, with all previously open tabs lost (about 120). Nothing was displayed in history under "recently closed tabs". Normal history however had been retained.
As this instance is included in my Firefox sync account, I hoped I could recover the tabs from there, to no avail. It seems that, after FF crashed and restarted, it just wiped all its tabs from sync.
Most people with similar problems are advised to restore their tabs from browsing history. This is an excruciating task, as it is most difficult to filter through all several months of visited pages and extract just the last instance of all previously open tabs. The small FF mobile menus make this even more difficult.
As I don't think these reliability issues will be resolved soon and backups are prudent one way or the other -- How can I back up the data in FF sync? I've found the extension About Sync which at least shows all tabs from all devices that are stored in Sync. When using the export data function however, only bookmarks are included. So I'd have to do a monthly clickfest, manually opening all object trees and saving the HTML page, which feels most awkward in the "digital age". Also, if this extension is discontinued, I'm f-ed again.
Is there any better way to back up FF sync data?

The thing is, I do not typically use a desktop; I use my iOS mobile devices. Is there a way to transfer my bookmarks in the app? Or am I required to use a desktop to complete this?

I have not been able to get my Firefox iOS app and desktop to sync. On both my desktop and phone logins are selected for syncing but each device has its own list of logins which they wont share with each other. I can sync tabs and send tabs from desktop to my phone and the same the other way around. The only thing that doesn't seem to sync is passwords/ logins.
I have uninstalled the app on my phone I have logged out and back in I have cleared connected devices on my account and relogged in
None of the above have worked in getting my device to sync.
When I do a fresh install I only get back the logins that I've manually entered onto my phone. It seems to have it's own list separate form the desktop and neither device is sharing login sync.
Any help would be appreciated, I have 300+ logins on my desktop version and have only manually moved over a small handful to my phone because manually doing so is a pain and they won't sync if I update one on the phone or computer to the other device.
I'm on iOS 109 and desktop version is 109.0 (64-bit). I have been trying for weeks on and off to resolve this issue.

If I scan with the scanner in the Firefox top corner I get told I must pair from within the App - where I thought I was.
I tried Manual Sync as per https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/sync-logins-firefox-ios but again screen didn't look like that (see what I was supposed to see attached) - account name not at top - I was signed in - and no sync circle.
Baffled and frustrated.
Used to work beautifully.

I have sync enabled at both ends, and have tried signing out and signing back in, removing and then re-adding the iOS device, and disabling and re-enabling sync, but nothing has worked.
I see this same problem has been logged many times here before but all those threads appear to have been archived without a solution being offered.

New iPhone 14 pro - Moved everything over from the old phone - Signed into Firefox and synced - All bookmarks are present - The option to use saved login information from FF is present - The websites where I have saved logins are all present and listed in the same order as my desktop (desktop version works fine btw)
The problem is that the usernames and passwords are not present for any of the websites. They are just blank when I try to use it directly from a login screen. (pic#1) I can select the website from the list and FF recognizes and recommends the correct website’s “info”, but when I tap it it just autofills blanks.
If I access passwords from the menu options while I am not trying to login to a specific website, I can see the same correct list of websites with saved info, but it says “no username” for all of them and the passwords are blank. (pic#2&3)
Without syncing, the password system is useless.

If I use the share menu to open in Firefox, then use the “send link to device” option there, the expected available devices do show up, and the send action does work (causes tabs to open on those other devices) when I choose them.
This is a recent regression. I want to be able to keep using Firefox on my desktop browser’s despite using a different browser on iOS, and a more cumbersome tab ingestion makes me less likely to continue doing that.

I generally use the same firefox account on all my devices (laptop, android and iOS) and love the pocket recommendations on the homepage. I tried enabling it on my iOS device (iPhone 13 pro) but it’s not showing even when it’s turned on!! I reinstalled the app several times and enabled it to see if that fixes the issue but it’s still not resolved. Kindly help me with this because one of the main reasons why I’m using firefox is because of the pocket recommendations!!
